    Suggestion: Since Kiriko has the smallest hitbox, has a invincibility ability, teleport, lock-on healing, OP ult, and wall climb... give her only 200HP. Treat her like the Tracer of supports in a way that she's punishable when out of position and maker her one-shotable (Sojourn Rail headshot, Hanzo headshot and Junk's nade even). The fact that she has 250HP is criminal considering all of her advantages.

      THIS. I've been saying this forever. Either 225 or even 200 HP would be perfect for a character like Kiriko, who has a slim and small hitbox, can make herself invincible for about a second, and teleport to an ally within 35 meters. She's way too forgiving if you happen to be poorly positioned, and reducing her HP is a good way of nerfing her without touching her abilities. Though, her abilities can definitely be nerfed, too, like increasing the cooldown of Swift Step, and removing the intangibility effect of Suzu and reduce its healing.
      Also, reduce her kunai ammo count. 12 or even 10 Kunai would be more than fine when she already has one of the fastest reloads in the game. Why does she even need *15* kunai to work with?

    Suggestion: Make LW's Petal Platform work like Sigma's Experimental Barrier. Have it on a 4 second cooldown, 400 HP, restores 50 HP per second while it's not out, and have it last indefinitely until it either gets destroyed or LW manually recalls it. This would make Petal Platform a much more prevalent part of his kit that LW players can more frequently look to make a play with, rather than the part of the kit that most LW players forget about and instead reserve for when they get flanked or dived because it's on a 12 second cooldown and it's generally more worth it to save it for yourself. Also, as it is with a 12 second cooldown, you can very easily get screwed by weird level geometry that it won't raise, and welp, guess it's useless and you can't do anything with it for 12 seconds. There's already so many other things you can do with Petal Platform (blocking off stairs, raising up someone from Grav, giving someone high ground to work with, saving someone who's slept or shattered, raising Winston bubble, etc. etc.) that making it work like Sigma's Experimental Barrier can reward LW players who play him as more than just a healbot.

      Weaver main, not sure if this would actually get people to use it more. It's still a situational ability so unless you need to do a bunch of these things at once I don't think it would change much.

      Petal platform is just an ability that gives LW repositioning and a better opportunity to escape being focused. Adding all this power into an ability is worthless and makes LW more painful for everyone else. Its kinda like buffing Torb turret for no reason. "Lets give Torb turret and petal platform 300/400hp so it makes it an even more annoying ability!" What an awful idea I'm sorry but you have to realise it

    Game dev here. The map issue likely isnt spaghetti code. Loading a map involves lighting, textures, maybe some custom fixes here and there. Loading both would be an issue, even if you have references here and there and don't hold things entirely in memory. The reason Blizz games actually feel smooth is the low level devs actually know what they are doing and basically code at a super low and light level. That's why even games like fortnight lack responsiveness - so much bloat and abstraction. I'm ok with sacrificing time of day to have a responsive game.

      hi there! i'm the suggestion submitter! i don't think the time of day works like how you describe. if I'm understanding correctly, you believe the map loads first, and then the lighting/textures
      I think it's more like karq said, where each differentiation is a completely separate map, just copied so that they can co-exist in game. The time of day is currently seasonal, but there is a reason why all times of day can be played in custom lobbies, and it's actually exactly what they do for their esports.

    Suggestion: Kiriko's Swift Step should have a cast animation during which she would be susceptible to damage, similar to Reaper's Shadow Step. This would accomplish two things:
    A) Limit her ability to apply pressure from any angle, as she would have to teleport earlier to avoid being killed.
    B) Force players to be more careful when using it to save an ally, as if she uses it too late, the ally might die.
    To add some synergy with Suzu, the cast animation would be as long as Suzu's invulnerability, so she can still use it to escape a dangerous situation, but she would have to use a Suzu, creating more opportunities to bait it out.

    Suggestion: make more enabling abilities instead of more preventative abilities.
    It seems to me that their hero design philosophy for the most part has been to make abilities that prevent ability usage, movement, healing or damage. Imo it was way more fun to hit the clutch nano or perfect firestrike through window or a perfectly timed speed boost than it ever was to hack, anti, or stun a character into oblivion. I think that's why so many people bring up 6v6. The synergy of 2 tanks was often one of the most engaging experiences in ranked. At least when it came to rein/zarya and winston/dva. Now the tank gets hit with so many abilities that either prevent the tank from taking space at all or nullify any value they get in team fights. The fact that a support cooldown can completely negate a tank ultimate is kinda crazy to me.

      6v6 had tons of preventative abilities though? tanks were all about preventative abilities: barriers, bubbles, knockbacks, matrixes... i feel like supports getting preventative cooldowns is a circumstance of having one less tank in the game to give these preventative windows so new supports were given the ability to make up for it.

      @TheWayOfTheWott sure i will say barriers were probably not good for the game in their state, but the tanks job was to use damage mitigation to create space. They could've solved double shield with orissa rework. Also bubble and dm were tools to enable your main tank to move forward in a lot of cases. Suzu and life grip are not that. My main comparisons were hack, anti and stuns but you could also include cage, lifegrip, lamp, hinder, dps passive and probably a few others I'm not thinking of. The Suzu vs shatter point was just kinda an afterthought tbh.
      My main point is we need more abilities like speed boost, nano, rush and damage boost and less of the others.

    Suggestion: LW's primary fire should charge x amount of healing per thorn hit for the next heal blossom so he can swap to doing damage more reliably (up to maybe 40 or something but not full)

    The Emote thing just makes sense because nobody is buying another emote when they’ve got the max 4 they can use on a character so for profitability makes sense.

    Since the mirrorwatch event, ive been hard stuck on thinking Sombra should be support with the changes mirrorwatch made, and then put zen in dps.

    Suggestion, We need a hero progression leaderboard! I feel like a top 500 leaderboard for hero levels would be nice to compare and compete against other players who main your hero. Im a level 60 tracer and i NEVER see other tracer players so id like to see how many people are higher than me. Its always fun to see people high levels on their main heroes. It would also be more useful than the hero mastery and hero gauntlet leaderboard that tracks time trails and scores that no one looks at after the two days it comes out.

    Suggestion: Give us some new edited maps for the arcade. I would love to play a deathmatch game on one of the Suravasa points or play a CTF game on Samoa. I understand that arcade will never be their priority but it sucks to see it get no new content outside of seasonal LTMs that very rarely return, and I don't think cropping existing maps for arcade would take an unreasonable amount of effort.

    Suggestion: Lifeweaver’s pull should cleanse - pretty much every other movement ability (fade/rewind/translocate/even bubble) cleanses; this would be an indirect nerf to Ana without messing with her kit.

    Suggestions: (I have one for Mauga Orisa and Mercy)
    Mauga-- get rid of the crit effect on his alternate fire gun and instead replace it with a debuff (fire/burn is a linear debuff so an accelerated debuff that starts slow and ramps up as you hit shots might be cool) and have the debuffs layer effects depending on the order that you apply them. This way you can lean into cardiac overdrive being his main source of sustain rather than his damage
    Orisa -- lean in to the african drum idea of her kit and instead of gold form making her take a ton of less damage, make it into a rhythm shot where if you shoot with a specific rhythm you gain mitigation ability and/or can apply buffs to nearby teammates.
    Mercy -- make her ult be rez again BUT instead of being mass rez have it be for a single teammate and when they come back they get buffs to speed or attack speed or damage, etc. this leaves open a second mobility ability on her E to make her more dynamic to play.

    My ideas
    Kiriko: remove cc immunity from suzu, lower current health by 25
    Venture: getting hit by javelin/rocket punch and any other heavy cc ability now heavily decrease the vertical mobility from emerging from the ground, encouraging venture to mix up their play.
    Rein: charge has more control, perfectly timed jump after cancelling/end of charge gives a litle forward momentum.
    Ramattra: vortex projectile speed increased by 10%, vertical hitbox now increased by 30%, it can now be placed on any surface.
    Echo: focus beam dmg buff triggers when health is below 40%
    Reaper:
    Weapon spread decrease by 10%
    Fall of starts at 13 meters
    wraith form rework.
    duration decreased to 2 seconds, movement speed increased by 80%, now has vertical mobility
    Junker queen: calling back gracie does the wound damage Instantly instead of overtime.

    Suggestion: Lifeweaver should be able to reload their secondary fire (thorns) uninterrupted while still having access to petal platform or life grip. It makes it hard to ever fire more than a single clip when reloading your thorns leaves you inflexible. I don't like having to decide between finishing a reload to protect myself or saving a teammate with grip. This issue doesn't exist when using healing blossom. Lifeweaver doesn't even use his thorn hand for the abilities that interrupt the reload.

    Suggestion: Change Kiri's suzu to not negate CC. It can still cleanse, make you invulnerable, and heal slightly but not make you intangible. That way doom can still punch a suzued hero and kiri can't immediately save her team from a PHAT shatter.

    there should be a category in hero gallery for each hero of all their interactions when in hero select/ waiting room.
    A neat way to add this would be that after a new interaction has been triggered by players it will now be available in the interaction menu of said hero in the hero gallery for players it triggered on those that heard it.
    That way players can learn when a new interaction has been added and try discover new interactions

    Suggestion: Inspired by the talk around roles and moving characters from one role to another, I'd like to bring back an idea I had early on in the days of 5v5 - Make some characters be playable in two roles, with slight tweaks when played in the new role. Partial examples: Bring back DPSfist; let Tank Brig have the stun on Bash full time, in exchange for removing Inspire and repair kit, or maybe letting inspire stay but weaker on allies; maybe let supp Sombra move a hacked medkit a small distance to make it more convenient for her team; give supp Zarya a stronger projected barrier in exchange for personal, and turn charge level into some other teammate buff idk; Tank Reaper becoming a lifesteal god.

    Suggestion to fixing Kiriko's Swift Step : The core issue is the "TP through wall" thing, but it"s also core to the character's identity. So I think they should do this -> Give it a line of sight check, if the target is in line of sight, Kiriko can TP her normal 30m distance. But if the target isn't, then she can only TP to them if they're like, 10 or 12m away from her behind the walls.
    That way, if Kiri TPs through a wall, you know you can chase her since she couldn't TP too far from you.

    Suggestion: Customize indication of damage received.
    Now, very often, being at 30% health, I have no idea about it.
    I would really like to be able to 1. customize the display of injuries (redness along the edges of the screen) and 2. markers of received damage (stripes around the crosshair indicating the direction from which the damage came). For example, on a tank I don't need red pulsing only at 10% HP. I would like it on the screen at 60-70% HP when my armor drops.
    At the same time, I don’t need this on Genji, because... 50% HP on this character - working condition) Selecting values ​​for the hero individually.
    Same to the dmg recieved marks. I want to customize it :D Why rein's hit with 100dmg looks like a giant fat quadrant, Hanzo's arrow looks like a tiny pixel? :C
    I'm used to the display in OW1. During the OW2 alpha, I even made screenshot comparisons (because I couldn't understand why I was so uncomfortable) and the difference is huge.

    Quite often, in the heat of battle, I don’t notice how half of my team dies behind my back.
    The volume of the sound notification about the death of an ally cannot be adjusted. The kill feed at the top right of the screen cannot be configured.
    Wouldn't it be cool?

      Can do it because people will abuse it to look around walls, there should be a max amount of time that you are locked tho like 2 or 3 seconds so that you can at least standardize the amount of time you are locked out

    Suggestion: yes this is biased but i want to see torbs builder/engineer character expanded in game too, make him able to choose between a few different types of turrets (similarly to how moira chooses her balls), or maybe even turn him into a support with the same ability for choosing damage turrets, and replace overload with utility buildings he can choose the same way with damage turrets, keep his shotgun, give him a way to heal teammates and change his ult to his old one, but the buff his turrets and buildings receive for the ult duration wouldnt be as big as it was many years ago

    Map vote, when everyone loads into a game have a 15 second timer for a vote, 3 random maps and times. Most voted map wins and thats what you play. This will also allow the devs to know what maps are liked and disliked by the entire community and be able to make changes accordingly.

    When it comes to dropping souvenirs: I honestly think this mechanic could work if it emulated something like old Reaper's soul drops or Mercy's rez.
    Souvenirs could simply float above the point where the player died (similar to the current emotes), linger for about 0.5-1 second, and then disappear. At least this way souvenirs have a better chance of being seen by ALL players and not just your teammates, like the rest of the cosmetics do. Not to mention the clutter would be brief and wouldn't have a chance to hide traps (since it's not touching the ground).
    Otherwise I personally still don't see much of a point in using (or in KarQ's case 'equipping'?) souvenirs if only half the lobby would get to see them most of the time.

    Suggestion: Since there are more dps like supports (Zen, Lucio etc), there should be tanky dps, such as bastion or torb, helps with the tank's alone protection, so you could do 1.5 / 1.5 / 2 instead of 1 / 2 / 2 if you get what I mean

    Suggestion: Since a major issue for tanks is CC, and there are half the amount of tanks, half the effects, half anti, half knowckback, half sleep, half hinder (either reduce the slow or reduce the time), etc..

    Support Sombra in mirrorwatch was super fun and I really enjoyed enabling teammates without having to hold blue beam on them and essentially give up my spot on the team for it a well. A harasser that can enable your team sounds like a really fun support ... to play lol idk about playing against though

    Suggestions:
    - on the topic of player portrait boarders, I’ve always wanted earnable cosmetic ones. There could be ones tied to mastery, some that replace lame souvenirs, and animated ones tied to mythic skins and top 500!!
    - rework illari ult into a hitscan beam instead of a projectile. You fire it and then it causes the AOE that marks enemies at the point of impact. She’s too easily countered by barriers, dva, sigma, Orisa, and especially kiriko. By removing the possibility for the projectile to be eaten, its usability will go wayyyy up. To balance you could shorten the mark duration or increase the time it takes to cast

    Suggestion: Have widow make there 1 hit kill indirect. Give it as example that widow can max 240 damage and then have a bleeding effect for a bit this should be strong enough so you get killed if nothing is done but if a support notices you got hit in that breef time you can still be saved

    Suggestion: Give BOB the tank passive instead of the DPS passive. Not sure how difficult it would be to code from a dev standpoint, but having him be harder to remove seems more fitting than applying a healing debuff

    Suggestion: Make symmetra a support. Don’t go back to 1.0 or 2.0 and turrets should NOT heal. Maybe making beam lock on to teammates and heal would be nice while also keeping the rest or her kit which is also good. If we really don’t want turrets, give her back her old moving shield that (maybe?) healed teammates who passed through it. But turrets could be better maybe for a support character.
    TP would be the main utility. Orbs are a good primary that MIGHT need a slight charge time buff or increased minimum damage. Ultimate could be reworked to a different type of shape or have added properties but I think it’s fine now.
    KarQ, since you are a support main I would really love your thoughts on a support symmetra.

    Suggestion : One of the game's biggest issue, is binary interactions in buffs and debuffs, hear me out. Think of what infuriated players to play against over the course of Overwatch's existence : Brig bash stun, Cass flashbang, Mei freeze on her primary fire, Ana's anti-heal, Orisa spear stun, Zen discord orb, Kiriko Suzu, Weaver Life Grip, Mercy damage boost, etc. All of these things have that in common : interacting with them is binary, it's either applied or it isn't, and you can't do anything about them beside killing the character or "baiting out" the cooldowns.
    The other thing they have in common is how reliable and (relatively) easy and consistent to pull off they are. This combination of easy to land + nothing to really do about it makes it a frustrating experience. On the flip side, skill shots like Ana sleep dart were hardly a problem, because the skill shot component compensates for the hard CC nature of the ability.
    So do this : make these "easy" abilities either skill shots (like, make Life Grip a Hog hook on your teammates and not an autoaim), or make their interaction non-binary, example : make Suzu not a full cleanse, but something that reduces the remaining timer on the debuff, make Ana anti-heal something like "heal 200 HP to get rid of it, or wait out the time", have Discord Orb and Damage Boost needing to ramp up over time to their full power. Doing this would help in not having straight up denial of impact, or unmitgatable impact, and in not having a character straight up denying another character's overall existence with a single ability.

    Hot Take: Give Tanks a “Super” button as a Role Passive. Put it on a long cooldown or once per round, or make it charge up by total amount of damage mitigated relative to each character. You can giga bust any tank for a short amount of time but then shrivels them up with nerfs until cooldown is over or the round is over. You can choose to use this ability or not depending on your gameplay, differing from ults where most are necessary to win. It’s fun and gives the player choice, and might make counters more forgiving if you can win team fights with it and hold.

    Hot take: What if tank's armor was immune to the DPS passive? Might require some tuning of the armor and health pools for tanks, but the net impact could help tanks out?

    Ive been saying since Sombra's release that she should have been a support. It only felt more justified since MirrorWatch was a thing and her kit felt great for enabling your team.
    Real freaking shame the deves took Sym out of support. They should have just added Torbjorn to Support instead. Proof that Supports weren't there just to heal if one gave shields and another gave armor.

      Swapping Doom to tank was probably one of the best moves. Sombra, Mei and other heroes should have similar treatment. Blizz needs to figure what they want sup and tank to be.

      Yea Sombra was already more of a disruptive support before they kept changing her to be more and more of a assassin. Mirrorwatch showed what kind of things she could do as support so its sad that they just waste that. They could do so many things with the ally hack and it pretty much solved most of the common complaints about her.

      As a sombra main, I didn’t like her mirrorwatch changes. I also haven’t heard anyone who is a sombra main say they liked that. Most of her change ideas come from players who don’t like playing against her and want her pushed out of the way. She’s fine right now, and I think they should make her translocator hit box smaller since it collides too easily in narrower room situations which leaves her trapped instead of getting out as intended.

    My guess re: day/night rotations is that elements of the lighting are baked, which creates extra assets (texture overlays, light probes etc). Those would add significant file size per map variation.

    Suggestion: Let us pick which voice line is heard when using an ult. Example: I can choose to hear "Vide bal sou yo!" instead of "Light them up!" when I use Matrix, but everyone else still hears what they'd normally hear (the former for allies, the latter for enemies). This would also not affect what I hear when others use Matrix.

    Suggestion, since it's better to have weaker abilities more often than it is to have fight winning abilities every so often, those abilities (Lamp and Suzu being prime examples) need to be reworked.
    Rework them into something that's not as strong but is available more often, so you can have more APM as those heroes and those abilities are less frustrating to play against.
    Regular abilities shouldn't be stronger than pretty much every single ult in the game.

    Suggestion: Use Mirrorwatch Sombra as an outline for a Zenyatta Rework. Here's something I whipped up for Zen based on it.
    -Orb of Destruction: Base Damage increased to 50 (Or 55/60) per Orb (Buffed due to Discord Orb Changes)
    -Harmony Orb: Grants an Ally 75 Overhealth and a 25% increase to their Attack Speed - 4 Second Duration (Mirrorwatch Hack)
    -Discord Orb: Deals 60 Damage Over Time and decreases Damage dealt from the Target by 50% - 4 Second Duration (Mirrorwatch Virus)
    -Transcendence: Grants 300 Overhealth and gives Harmonry Orb to the User and nearby Allies. Every 2 seconds, 75 Overhealth is removed. After 5 seconds, Harmonry Orb is removed from all Targets. (Mirrorwatch Anti-Virus)

      There will just be 2 tanks every single game. To many instant win ult synergies while also simply being tankier (duh) by default, no reason to pick dps or a 3rd support, it would be the same as open q.

      he went over this suggestion in the video. 2 tanks is not going to work in the 5v5 meta. its okay in open queue, but only when both teams opt for the same lineup. ive been suggesting the tank role to be the flex role. either 1-2-2 standard, or 2-3 / 3-2.

    Suggestion from a tank player: idea of taking less dmg the more people target u is good, but there is a simple way to do it, limit the amount of health tank can loose in 1 second, bc playing into ana feels bad bc of oneshots after sleepdarts, and hog is good at tank trades bc u get hooked and die. This change wont affect any 1v1s so support/dps players wont whine that tanks are op

      @Freshprime55 fair. Everyone has their opinions on heroes but my gripe is with Lifeweaver as a hero, not the people who play them. I play tank and there are so many things on the enemy team that take away my ability to play the role, having the potential for one more on my own team is not something I look forward to.
      Life grip can be used in super clutch situations, but also I am getting pulled from securing a kill, holding a corner (taking 0 damage) or canceling a cooldown

    Suggestion:
    To make highlight intros part of the character select screen when you hover over which hero to play to bring out more life towards the highlight intros and not having to possibly throw a game because a player wants to see their highlight intro. Plus it'll shine a personal light for support mains. I understand if it's not possible due to an engine limitation but it would be really neat.

    Suggestion: You should be able to switch roles with another player mid match if both of u are in spawn. If your tank is doing bad and ur dps is a good tank, u should be able to get a request to shift roles (like a friend request) and if both players accept u can switch roles. this may be nice and teams can work together

    Suggestion for a Mercy Guardian Angel rework: Make it so she doesn't need to fly to an allied player and remove the second part of GA where she can cancel it to fly off in another direction.
    Right now, her movement can be so team dependent that it can be useless in some team comps and broken in others. This GA change makes it so she can still fly without nearby teammates (maybe to a point 15m where she's looking), while allowing her to fly to allies she's looking at or has her beam attached to. I also suggest they give her the Zarya treatment and give her 2 GA charges on a 2 second cooldown. This would let her use lots of movement quickly when in danger, but make her vulnerable for a longer time afterwards.
    It's not really a part of this but I also suggest they give something for her to use resurrect while all allies are alive. Maybe a delayed (like 1 second channel) burst of healing on her current beam target (could probably put the ability on a 20 second cooldown if used this way).
    Mercy has a lot of issues right now but this should hopefully find a movement state that both she and her attackers can be happy/tolerant with.

    Reaper: Give him a secondary fire that shoots a slug. It can be 70% - 85% the strength of a full spread, with a headshot multiplyer to balance the damage. This would allow him to retain his tank busting identity with minimal change.
    Mercy: increase her self heal from cadets staff usage. That's it.
    Kiriko: there's not really anything that can be drastically changed without breaking her on a fundamental level. However, I think changing her kunai to have fall off damage would be a good place to start.
    Sombra: imo her invisibility is way too strong of an ability. It should have a button to activate it. Perhaps it could be activated like baps jump boots by crouching.
    Sheild based tanks: damage blocked via sheilds should count towards ult charge.

    Suggestion:
    After Symmerta's DPS rework her gun lost its uniqueness and Symmetra herself became a much worse basketball player, which i find quite upsetting. So, my suggestion is to bring back the lock on as well as orbs phasing through barriers/players -and watch the world burn- but change it to be less annoying. First, change the beam charge up mechanic so it ramps up gradually from 0 to 100 when you pinpoint an enemy (more like Zarya, instead of 3 levels, and minimum dmg can be literally 5) and decreases when you're off target but within the lock on radius (make the radius fairly small), if the target is out of the lock on radius the beam breaks immediately; probably should increase the beam's reach compared to Sym 1.0 cos it was pretty short if i'm remembering correctly. If ramping up/down will be quick it will make Sym better at doing dmg right away, instead of having to find an opportunity to charge up you beam, while still encouraging good aim. For the orbs, make it so they pierce through enemies and barriers (still explode when hit a wall?) BUT if they pass through a barrier they do 25-50% of their dmg; speed, damage, and size of the orbs is whatever seems appropriate to devs
    Also, while we at it, maybe turn her Shift into a "builder mode" ability (sort of like when Moira is choosing between her orbs) where while it's active you can press M1 to throw a turret and M2 to build a TP. That would free up an ability slot for the Sym 2.0 photon barrier, this ability would make her better against heros like Hanzo/Widow/Ashe/Pharah/Echo, alleviating some of her struggles
    I have some other ideas regarding other heroes but i feel like i'd overstate my welcome making the the comment even bigger, will spare some for the future videos

    16:00 For their argument here, I can see why they are making it. Counter swapping the enemy Tank as a Tank won't do much, but if multiple enemies swap then you are forced to swap.
    Another example is Reinhardt. The enemy swaps Orisa. Not the best thing to deal with, but you can make it work. The issue here though is that they have 2+ other people swap to Pharah, Echo, Kiriko (They probably already had Kiri), etc.
    When the Tank swaps the other Tank, it isn't a necessarily a problem. The issue is that there is only 1 Tank, so counter swapping is infinitely more effective against them. If 2-3 members of the other Team are counter swapping you, you will never have fun. That 40-60 matchup against a Counter basically shifts another 10 per Counter that you're up against (Ex: Being up against 3 Counters would basically make your odds a 20% vs 80% chance of succeeding as your current character).
    Edit: I should have waited a bit longer lol. This got mentioned a minute later. It did feel like this got pushed to the side a bit in the vid though, but I feel like what I said is still valid anyway. The Counter Swapping issue isn't when a Tank Counter Swaps another Tank, it's when multiple Players Counter Swap the Tank. In order for Tank to be fun, this would have to not be the case, but I don't think there's an easy answer for that.

    Suggestion: Every hero should have their own unique passive beyond just a role passive. Only 40% of the hero roster actually have passives compared to those that do. (16 out of 40) Passive's play a core part in each hero's kit making them more fun to play. I feel like hero's that don't have one are missing out on very cool and interesting idea's on how each hero can benefit from a very small buff or quality of life change that acts in the background. I've already come up with interesting and fun passive's for each hero that I think would be a great addition to the game, as I enjoy doing stuff like that in my spare time.

    Suggestion:
    Instead of Sombra locking out all your abilities, when they hack you they make your abilities have a debuff. For example shields have lower max health. Dynamites, Bombs, and damaging ability does less damage. Dashes go shorter. Healing does less. You get the idea.
    I feel like this would help with the insanely oppressive feeling hack gives you and gives you time to counter, while still keeping hack viable.
    (This was a hot take I made that I now realize is more of a suggestion)

    Suggestion : Give all tanks a way to convert damage taken
    For example doom block(damage taken empowers/reset ability cooldown), Zara bubble (damage taken increases your damage)sig grasped (convert damage received to overhealth)
    The next ability could convert damage received in a spot on the player to ult charge, faster cooldowns, or being able to store the damage/ability taken and spit it back out as a new skill shot projectile with size and damage it does scaling with how much was absorbed

This would require rebalancing some tanks but it would change how enemy teams interact against a tank and prevent having to deal with enemy teams constantly having ults when you’re stuck with a feeding tank

    Suggestion: why is our progression in ranked (when we see how far into a rank we are, % wise) only shown after a game had finished. Every other iteration of Competitive has atleast had a tab or an easy way to check your progress within a rank
    -Sr was a physical number which you could see on your career profile and if i remember correctly when you went to queue for ranked you'd see your SR
    -the whole 7 wins 15 loses although didnt see your rank it showed how close you where to re-rank
    However its almost like nowadays they believe that showing our progression within ranked was the issue with old competitive and have removed the feature to even see your progression. Sure wr have the competitve tab but that only shows the rank icon and not the % of the rank. I'm not quite sure why i haven't heard this from anyone else because it makes no sense to not be able to check how close you are to ranking up outside of when a game has finished

    Suggestion : widows Akers mines are obsolete and she needs something new here. I liked the mirror watch widowmaker with the if hit you can see whomever you tagged through walls. Instead have this as a enablement ability like Hanzo storm arrow where it enabled and you have a short time to use a set ammo set then goes on cd.

    Suggestion: they should lean into Sombra as they did Tracer, a fast high risk - high reward assasin.
    Reduce her hp to 200-175. But to compensate, up her damage and make her translocator be on a shorter cd, faster cast time and travel speed.

    A good idea for a support would be one that’s all about buffing and nerfing allies and enemies via skill shots, like an ana thats primary goal is to pump allies with fire rate buffs or damage amp or reducts and pump enemies with the reverse, and then has DoT abilities to compensate for lack of actual damage

    Ball falls out of ball from from hack because it's a permanent shift. Whereas Ram's, and other forms are CD's.
    This is why Bastion no longer loses his form when hacked, like he did in OW1.

    4:50 I could see this working better for when they have the DPS Passive applied instead of when they're being multitargeted. Likely shouldn't apply to anyone with the DPS Role, but it could work for what the commentor was aiming for. Probably should only be for the Tank Role as well. We don't need people trying to focus a Tracer and them having higher sustainability because they took splash damage before engaging lol
    That said, I don't know if I'd want this change either tbh

    Suggestion: When queueing multiple/all roles, the time you spend queueing into the roles you don't get should remain and be carried forward to your next queues until you receive the role. This way all roles isn't the same as tank only queue.

    Suggestion: Remove or remake how voice channels work
    I moved to Overwatch from Dota. And I was immediately confused to see such a strange mechanics of "channels" for comm. Why do I have to choose between communicating with allies or party members if I'm playing with friends?
    In Dota, you don't need to join anything and you have 2 different buttons to talk specifically to your allies and specifically to your party. It's convenient and you don't need a discord if you want to talk to a friend and give short call to the team at the same time
    I'm from the European region and this problem is more urgent here, because most people know several languages and when playing with friends they often switch to their native language, ignoring the fact that 3 people in the lobby do not understand it. Give them the opportunity to talk privately with each other without leaving the general chat.

    suggestion: i think "Sym should be support" suggestions are missing what Sym was all about. Sym has never been about healing her team, and instead has always about being a utility character. instead, i think they should lean into her niche as the barrier-creating DPS. as an alternate to Teleporter, let her switch to deploying a barrier, either like her old barrier from the 2.0 rework or by bringing back Shield Generator as a "Barrier Generator" that projects a (probably low-HP) barrier around or in front of it. this would solve her problems of being a close-range DPS with low survivability, being a map-dependent character based on natural cover and TP spots, and i don't think it would be that broken considering we already have a DPS with a wall (Mei), a support with a barrier, (Brig) and a DPS with healing. (Soldier)

    Suggestion , wrecking ball and roadhog should be DPS's in 5v5, without going into 5v5 vs 6v6 debate, they just don't work well in this format as tanks and would benefit much more being on the DPS role and doing their own thing, also we need more big characters on other roles than tank, bastion is lonely. 😂

    Suggestion: Blizzard should give the ball QoL treatment to some other heroes. I'm specifically talking about the 1 second cooldown if cancelled. Some examples: doom's punch 1 sec CD if cancelled, Sig shield 1 sec (or none) if cancelled w/o taking damage, 1 sec deployable CD if it didn't take dmg (torb turret, pylon, sym turret), etc.

    Suggestion: I often can't tell when I'm being healed or not. I've been playing Diablo and they show different color parts of the health bar for dot and heal over time. Maybe something like that could work for ow so you could tell when they are out damaging healing received.

      I mean, there already is an indicator for being healed. Since midseason, youll notice your status icon go dark/empty when you arent full hp, and a thin yellow line when you recieve healing from any source at all, lasting for as long as the healing does or until you reach full.

    Suggestion: rework Sym Turrets from being annoying single-targets death beams, into an AoE zoning tool (like Sojourn's Disruptor Shot but much weaker).
    People find a stack of turrets obnoxious, as they slow you by a whopping 45%, and provide high damage without the need to aim. Make it an AoE while nerfing the damage down to like 10 per turret, up the individual slow to 20% but remove the ability for it to stack, and make it contribute to Sym's beam charge.
    TLDR, these turrets would 1) provide value by via inflicting slow/dps passive to all foes in an area, as well giving sym a safe way to gain/maintain charge and 2) be less obnoxious due to the removal of high damage lasers, making Sym's damage come from her own aim.

    Suggestion: I think Mercy should ger her old GA cooldown back (no extra +1 second upon using slingshot) and get her HP lowered to 225 or even to 200. That way her mobility and evasiveness is rewarded by those who play her and those who target focus her are also rewarded. It would also indirectly nerf Resurrect because she can't tank as much damage.

    about voiceline you can setup your keys in the keyboard for many voiceline you want ie. i have 6 keys just for voiceline , i use the numbers keys , dont know if it can works for emote but for voicelines it works perfectly . Maybe it wont works ifor console unless you have a controller with more buttons

      yeah sadly console controls are very crowded already. i cant have any individual emotes or voice lines bound without removing the larger communication wheel entirely, or taking away the ping system. everything else is taken up by gameplay controls

    Suggestion: Sombra's hack being able to cancel so many Ultimates on a 6 second cooldown feels very unbalanced, especially since there also seems to be some inconsistency regarding whose ultimates can be hacked. I feel there are multiple ways this can be addressed;
    - Don't allow Hack to interrupt any ultimates. EMP can still interrupt alts.
    - Using hack to interrupt an ultimate should incur a much longer cooldown, 10+ seconds.
    - Instead of cancelling ultimates, it should just interrupt/pause them for 1.5 seconds, then the ultimates should continue.
    I know there are several abilities with similar or shorter CDs that shutdown ultimates, but they either require some degree of aim or have significant moments of telegraphing, allowing people to react. As sombra is often invisible when shutting down ults and how it "locks on", it feels really cheap to cancel long duration or set-up style ults in its current form.

    Hot Take/Suggestion - I think basic critt damage multiplier should be 1.5x, not 2x: of course you have to give some buffs to partially compensate that, but a 1.5x stabilize more range of damage you take, making more previsible how much damage you take without taking off skill expression (a.k.a in this case, hit headshots) - some heroes like Kiri or Widow can have 2x - 2.5x and even some heroes like Sojourn Railgun 1.25x critt but with way more base damage (like 155 base damage and 193 critt damage)

    I can very easily follow the current badge system as it follows most gacha systems out in the world for Hero Rarity/ascension level
    White is your starting out (Obviously) T0/common
    Green is like a T1/Uncommon
    Blue is T2/Rare
    Purple is t3/Epic
    and Gold is T4/SR (aka Super Rare)
