- ■ Adrian Newey has been breaking the F1 world lately with some of the statements related to his departure, but now it seems like things have gotten extremely serious. After a report has been made from renowned medias like Auto Motor und Sport, Newey is set to depart Red Bull, and we are to receive an announcement in the next couple of days. But which team will he go to considering that there are two outlets that are extremely interested in him, and will Red Bull feel the consequences of this move?

🚨 Speaking on F1's Beyond the Grid podcast, Newey was asked if he regrets not having Ferrari on his résumé.
"Emotionally, I guess, to a point, yes," Newey replied.
"But just as, for instance, working with Fernando and Lewis would have been fabulous. But it never happened. It's just circumstance sometimes, that's the way it is."
If there is one team Adrian Newey could join after a Red Bull departure, I guess we know which one that will be.. 👀

If the politics are driving Newey away from Red Bull, it's hard to see Ferrari OR Aston Martin being a better alternative.

He's contracted to Red Bull to the end of 2025, so if Red Bull don't play ball, he won't be working with anyone that isn't named Red Bull. IF he is able to leave, I think he will want to work at Ferrari, given his age, love of the history of F1 and his love of Ferrari. I said Red Bull are imploding 2 months ago, now it's started..... and will continue to fall apart. I blame Jos (the failed F1 driver) and Marko (The Power hungry geriatric) R.I.P RED BULL.

Aston Martin is a Legendary name and Alonso is there, so it looks like 50/50, I’m sure he’ll see what they both have to offer then make a decision

If Newey leaves Red Bull, it would certainly make the competition more interesting, but it's still a little unsatisfying. I would much rather see another team improve and begin to threaten the champion team, than see the champion team self-destruct.

How stupid you are 😂 RBR started in 2005… Max wasn’t there…. 😂 Max isn’t RBR. And in 2021 Horner already told that they were preparing for Newey leaving at some point and Newey was mentoring engineers, and they build a huge team in RBR with Wache, Monaghan, Wheatley and many more in the company we don’t see…. 😂 Newey only works part time on RBR. He also is creating the dream REDBULLHYPER CAR which will be ready in 2025. Next to Newey RBR has already build a full design team …… it’s not just Newey

This time it’d actually make sense. Seemingly similar internal states of the team are why he left Williams and McLaren. Internal shit shows are how you make Newey dip in a heartbeat, the dude doesn’t tolerate an unhealthy work environment any longer than necessary. Now WHERE he goes is anyone’s guess, but with the current state of Redbull it’d be a surprise to see him stay.

No it’s not. Newey is only part time at RBR. RBR has a huge strong design team with Wache, Monaghan, and many more we don’t see at the track. Horner said in 2021 that they were already preparing for when Newey would leave. They build an extensive design team of which Newey is part time member. The other teammembers do more than you give them credit for. RBR knew Newey would be leaving in a few years, he is 65!
