  • ▶︎▶︎ Adrian Newey has been heavily related to a move outside from Red Bull, and it seems like the Austrian team have found out about this information from the media - just like us. The fact that the British mastermind has decided to change his environment - as reported by multiple reliable media and people close to Newey - goes to show that the internal battle between Red Bull’s power figures is all but finished. With this in mind, which teams would benefit the most out of the current situation in Red Bull, and is this the start of the downfall for the Austrian squad?

The phrase is, “Your fault!” This shows that the fault lies with (or belongs to) a person/thing.
“You’re fault,” literally means, “You are fault,” which is not correct.
    Just trying to help.

Newey being spotted in Bologna weeks before this news is very coincidental. All the stars seem to be lining towards him going to Ferrari and creating arguably the best team line up since the Schumacher/Brawn/Todt days. Also I wonder what made Lewis sign on the dotted line, surely he knew something just as he did with Mercedes. Then again this all could be wrong and he goes with Aston Martin who he already has close relations with. I’m hoping Ferrari though what a force they’ll be

The pull of Ferrari is the legendary name & legendary driver - but Newey is a man that likes a challenge & I wonder if Ferrari isn't too good to give him that challenge?
Aston is a bit more of a challenge & also has a legend in Alonso. Newey could be the herald of change & Lance Stroll finally getting shuffled out to make way for a stronger driver to make it a fully serious effort?
One option that I haven't seen mentioned though is.... Audi!
To me that seems a perfect fit - a real challenge to pull them from where Sauber are now.... If he goes on gardening leave now he will arrive in time to help a little with the 2026 car - 2026 will likely be messy for them any which way with the changeover of the team & new regs, but mid 2025 arrival will be perfect to steer the 2026 car in the direction to give it a really solid base for 2027.
Also the timing of this makes me think it has been planned - early enough to get in there & help for 2026, but most noticeably with Audis driver announcements..... They just announced their second driver.... But not the lead driver..... Sainz is there for the taking, so why haven't they jumped on him & signed if they are serious? I think there is a plan.... get Verstappen to jump ship with Newey!!!
In reality Verstappen has had it pretty easy at RB - handed the fastest car on the grid & drive off into the sunset for multiple years now...
One of the signs of a truly great driver is winning the championship with multiple teams, & even more so go to a team lower down the grid & build it up into a powerhouse. Think Schumacher to Ferrari, Hamilton to Mercedes - win championships with a strong team, then move to a lower team, build it up & win with them.
AM fits the bill, but Audi is the dark horse in this race I feel.

Whilst TOTO remains the CEO and shareholder of mercades this team is going backwards...Its human nature that people get tired and entrenched with their thinking stayig in the same job too long. TOTO needs to sell out to the dynamic Horner.
Its a perfect fit to solve mercades problems. TOTO will be able to build a new Audi team from the bottom up with fresh thinking.

Well, a few weeks ago we made videos about either Horner leaving Red Bull or the team would slowly fall apart & now the question is, is this the first sign of the consequences of Horner staying at Red Bull?
Also, there have also been some rumours about Max Verstappen & his management having a meeting after the Miami GP with staff from Mercedes where in the deal Max could earn 150$ million + Helmut Marko could join the German team with him. We will work on a video and update everyone about this tomorrow!

I think this is more likely not horners hoorndog behaviour but the fact horner wanted to completely remove newey from the development of the f1 car, while Newey have always said he wants freedom to develop the car

    • @TayebMC
      @TayebMC Před měsícem

Better to get rid of Marco, Jos and Max than to get rid of Horner at this stage. RB is going through multiple challenges for the next few years with them taking over engine design and 2026 regs. You need someone like Horner to complete the job, just look at the mess Alpine are in since they sacked Abiteboul. If they can't get the Car/Engine right Max can leave, as for Jos and Marco well you can always find someone else to eat the buffet. I also think that RB is not so dependent on Newey as in the past, but they would like to keep him, just to stop other teams from getting him. The big problem seems to be in the engine dept, but if they nail that well they can chose who will drive for them.
