Keeley Hawes is so AMAZING in this role! Knockout brilliant!

She was so repulsive and narcissistic couldn’t watch the character - very good actor.
Lindsay is the definition of doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, definitely my favorite LoD character.
By far the best Line of Duty 'bent copper'.
Hands down. A very complex character who was far from a saint but her heart was ultimately in the right place and her line, "Because I'm a police officer!" is by far the best line from any of the "Bent" coppers. Even though she wasn't perfect she was a Police Officer to the core and couldn't let herself become bent. I was honestly so angry when she died but happy at the same time, she had shown her true stripes to everyone and had finally discovered who framed her, it was a complete character arc and wasn't stretched out. Best character they've had! I did like Ros too.
But she was a bent copper, she was narcissist and in denial saying she’s a police officer - she wasn’t. She was complicit in conspiracy to murder as she took the bribe, and was a corrupt officer. She was nuts more than anything or delusional. Hard to watch such a vile person. Very good acting.
@@mikeno8192 As is usually the case, female 'villains' are portrayed in a more sympathetic way than their male counterparts. More a victim of circumstance than a nasty criminal - and in the end redeemed herself by becoming a martyr when she tried to nail Cotton just before he killed her. They did a similar thing with Joanne Davidson in the last series.
Keeley Hawes is amazing. And so is the Make up artists she works with. I could never tell her apart from juilia Montague
best show on TV, if the BBC was subscription based I'd definitely need to buy in, couldn't miss this show.
I've literally just realised Keeley Hawes is Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes. She is an amazing chameleon of an actor! Well done to her and the makeup crew!
Love Keely in this show so good an actor mind you she is great in any role she plays

Brilliant series but in every episode there is always something that annoys me. In this one it was at the end with Dot and Lindsay in the car. He points the gun at her when the car has stopped and threatens her when she starts to send the message to AC12. Why the hell didn't he just grab the phone off her? He was sitting next to her. Punch her in the face and grab her phone. No need to shoot her!!!

Maybe because she could just email/text the message from a different pc/phone later on. She must have had more copies.
@@doomguy5406 So knock her out and deal with that later. Drive her somewhere and think of a way of disposing of her that does not implicate himself.
Lindsay Denton was so clever that she’d probably find the list again or find some way to expose Dot. He probably thought she was too dangerous to be left alive.
