This "simple" recovery turned into more than I bargained for!

This truck was delivering a bridge crane to a local ranch right as an ice storm hit that caused major problems and shut down highways in the area. There was on steep hill getting into the ranch that the truck couldn't make it up, so I brought the ‪@zackliftinternational4841‬ over to pull him up it. Then due to the cold temperatures, most of the equipment on the ranch hd gel'd up and couldn't start, so I used the Zacklift to unload the crane beams as well. This is where the Zacklift completely blows every other detachable tow unit out of the water. There is only one other brand that has an extendable boom, but it is such a short extension that it can't reach out to the center of a trailer in order to lift a load. Up until a couple years ago when Zacklift created the Genesis, a job like this would have been unthinkable with a detachable tow unit.
While I waited for the truck to get warmed up and backed off the hill I took some time to watch ‪@FabRats‬ put the new ‪@YankumRopes‬ XL rings to the test on an off road recovery!
Oh, and after all was said and done, I tried backing up the same hill that the truck got stuck going forward on just to see if the ‪@onspotnorthamerica22‬ auto chains would do it!
