G12M-25 watt black backs, date codes are June 30th of 1978 It’s one of if not my favorite speaker ever. I just purchased a random one to start using in my little combo amps. And that one sounds great as well.
@@RiotHomeRecording I would to bro lol. I jam my studio everyday like it’s a gold top “my fav” Les Paul model lol!!! Man soon gonna get their and jam out bro!!!
Nope they’re capacitors. They do look like Allen Bradley carbon composite resistors, but assure you they are capacitors. Here’s a link check them out. luxe-radio.com/collections/bumble-bees
@@RiotHomeRecording don’t he know he can’t school u on gear. Lol lil does he know u held your own in conversation with that guitarist Dave Kushner from Velvet Revolver even schooled him a lil if I remember correctly on Fernandez guitars. God damn wish we could go back to that night. We got gum for the band lmao. Back stage partying with Slash Duff and Kushner after the show bro!!!
Awesome sound!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing
Definitely an improvement. More clarity and clean bite. The distortion on the neck pickup is rich and round, not muddy sounding.
Agreed 100%! The pearly gates has the bitey midrange. I’m liking it a lot.
I might try those Cream T Whiskerbuckers in the future.
What speakers are in your cab?

Those brown tubes with coloured strips are resisters, not capacitors. The coloured bands indicate the value of the resister and the tolerance.

@@socialite1283 yes, and when I seen them I thought the same thing. Why does it look 👀 like a 5 watt carbon resistor?
