GET BACK Guitar Lesson with On-Screen TAB - How To Play GET BACK By The Beatles

- A QUICK NOTE: On the intro, Lennon played an A Major barre chord at the 5th fret, and with the flat of his right hand, he pounded out 8th notes. Harrison's rhythm part is obviously heard the most... But it's fun to mess around with John's part as well :-)

Wow,just came across this while looking for heavy metal vids,I'm a metal guitarist. Never was really thrilled to listen to the Beatles. However, the amazing thing is,I finally realized what incredible songwriters these dudes were. I mean, every one of their songs is completely different. I mean really, who sits down and writes this stuff. That's just incredible to me. Also, they were just young guys back then. Barely out of school. Man, much respect Beatles, you guys rock, woohoo.🤘🎸🎵🎶🔊🎼🎧🎹🎷
The most popular beatles song isn't a lennon/McCartney song either, George Harrison here comes the sun, a bit of trivia for you. 🌞👍
So happy to read young people realizing the genius of the Beatles and what they crafted during their young ages together.
"These dudes" huh..hahaha
This such a great lesson. I'm just picking up a guitar today after not playing 25 + years. We had to learn off a record back in 70s, this makes to so much easier! Thank you!
Ace lesson. Like the way you blend the guitar parts. Excellent for playing at home.
this was an incredibly comprehensive tutorial... i am a bassist having a blast trying to play guitar... you make it something that is great, had i known how much fun i could have had earlier... i would have made the switch when it was feasible.. thanks sir, lane

I grew up with parents who were mostly classical music listeners, but my father had Sgt Peppers and Abbey Road in their huge album collection. At age 6 I discovered those records and knew they were not like the others. I also knew how to work the turntable and stylus (needle). The rest is history! Life long rocker and amateur guitar enthusiast.
Oh yeah! So beautiful to hear :-) They changed my life
Really good. Loved it

Muyyyyy bueno, muchas gracias!!!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Love the billy Preston keyboard lick / fill .
I’ve always wondered what George plays during the chorus. I thinks some variation of the A7th chord but not sure. They discuss the chord in the get back movie I think.
Thanks man, love the tab at the bottom.
Magnific!!!
Thanks :-)
Merci à toi 🤙🤙🎸
OK, I'm gonna take a break from your Toys In The Attic lesson, and work on this for a while. I have a Squier Tele looks exactly like your guitar. 😄 The high E string pops out of the nut occasionally... but it's still fun to practice on.
Really great tutorial, thank you. I really like the tone you’ve got on the guitar/amp. I’m pretty new to this - any tips or hints on how I can configure this type of tone on my amp?
Thanx for watching... It's a pretty clean tone, so be sure to use the mid pickup (or even neck position) for that darker sound. The bass on most amps really kicks in at about 5 - so that's a good place to start. Hope that helps!
Thanks Howard for the hints - I’ll have a play around with those settings.
Thanks !!
You're welcome!
muy bien explicado gracias God bless you
You play guitarr great and teach very good.
Thank you very much!
thank you
As an amateur and a perfectionist who just plays at home but tries to capture the feel of each track, I love that you arranged this to incorporate multiple musicians' roles.
Excellent job, and thank you very much for your submission. I'm hereby favoriting your video for future reference!
Thanx so much for watching. I'm glad you found it helpful :)
LOVE THIS - The G The D The Key Board Parts And The Tab👍🏼 - GREAT TEACHING - THE BEST OUT THERE! THANK YOU!!! How About The Preston Keys Solo?? :))
Thanks :-)
06:57 I think that last digit in the tab (bent up a 1/4) should be a 5 and not a 7. Leastways, that is what I hear when both the Beatles and Howard play it.
Thanks, I was thinking the same thing. Tab shows a 7 plus bend up 1/4; he's ending on 5 plus trem.
