The New Hohenkirchen Map | Route 854 | OMSI 2 | MAN Lions City

- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
In today's OMSI 2 video we're going to be taking a look at the new Hohenkirchen map. This map is set in Germany however is fictional. There's a few routes available as well as two different types of buses to drive, the MAN Lions City and the IVECO Urbanway.
Today we're driving the route 854 which is approximately 25 minutes long. I think this is the route which is a challenge and climbs up a mountain however it does seem it's not quite as challenging as I thought. Maybe it's the wrong route.

We've been to Germany a couple of times, My sister-in-law lives in a little town called Altenkirchen. Whilst we was there we went to a town called Linz. It was absolutely beutiful and had the Rhine flowing through it, always remember it, it was a gorgeous hot day and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The shops and houses were traditional builds and it was so picturesque. :)
Oh that sounds absolutely perfect! Germany really is one (of many) of my happy places :D As you say it's just so picturesque in so many places :D

Hey Joe, great video and amazing map, by any chance can you or if anyone else knows what he uses to drive your bus for example: controller, keyboard etc etc. thanks!
He uses a steering wheel, one of those cheap Thrustmaster ones.
How do you get this sim to sim to work, retired bus driver. it's more complicated than driving a real bus.

You really should get a hold of TrackIR, since you kinda committed to simulator games, and every simulator game is way better with TrackIR. Sure, it costs a hell of a lot of money, but it pays off over time. I have bought mine 10 years ago, I don't even remember how much it did cost, but I know I have played thousends of hours with it. I don't even remember how miserable camera controls are in most sim games, and frankly, I don't wanna know anymore. Back in the days there weren't even that many games supporting TrackIR, but today even Bus SImulator 21 supports it properly - probably the only feature of the game that isn't riddled with bugs. I'm sure it's some kind of one-size-fits-all plugin made by the TrackIR people and not Astragon's own work. Anyway, get it asap.

What programs did you use to boost fps?
get the 4gb patch and lower ur ai vehicle settings
