- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 episode!
Well we're back on OMSI 2 today where we're going to be taking a look at the brand new route 300 map. This map will set you back £16.75 and brings the full 40 minute route along with the Electric Solaris Urbino 18 to your game.
So what do we think? I'm a little bit nervous due to the amount of poor reviews on Steam, but to be fair I've turned my settings up and I've not had any problems... Well I've not had any problems just yet! Never say never!

Its an awesome place to drive and route, however I just don't see a point in it. The Bus has this route its less laggy and its better visually, one reason to get this route on OMSI would be for the different bus as currently The Bus doesn't have this bus.

For me performance on this map and with this bus is okay-ish. I have a 5 year old CPU and a 7 year old GPU but the 300 map runs similar to the Berlin X10 map on my machine. For OMSI standards it's definitely playable and I get 20 FPS at Alexanderplatz and around 50 FPS at the Philharmonie terminus.
And in return for the meh FPS you get a highly detailed and realistic map. I live in Berlin so I feel right at home in this :D
Halfway through the video I realized it was Omsi 2 and not The Bus. Really miss Berlin, have to take a trip this summer. You should have a meetup there Joe, I would definitely meet up and do some bus photography😊

Ohhhh tell me about it! MrMoose sent me the map ages ago but I was away :( I've just not had the chance :(
Can someone help me, whenever I load the bus spawning menu the game completely crashes and there is no way of stopping the repeating loop of "load and crash" without using task manager. This seems like an issue that only I have had and I would really like to drive this map.

Joe - did you ever find out whether the 4G patch had been applied when you made this video? It seemed quite important - because if the patch was not applied then "white outs" on a map of this complexity could be expected? Or maybe you have re-applied the patch to be sure then retested Berlin 300?
Fantastic video joe this DLC is grate it was so annoying when it removed my settings and 4gb patch but that's omsi being omsi i had a few stutters but you know what i very enjoyed my drive on it and for 16.75 its not a bad DLC the Solaris Urbino 18 is lovely to drive sounds grate and handles amazing

I have had no problems with it Ive done a couple of runs now and no problems.
Ho this is possible?? Looks so good and FPS are amazing.. what is ur set up? Mean setting in Omsi? I have 9 fps average;p

Why does Berlin have so few old buildings though? Doesn't the U2 run where the streets have no name?

Why don’t you just play the boss it’s graphics are way better.
Not a good video to be honest, should've restarted when the textures have gone white. This way we've only really seen half the map and the rest of the video was you complaining about the white textures.
The ticket machine not working is acually a big deal, since it's responsible both for ticket selling as well as proper setting up of the line/course. Since you don't use any of both, you don't stress enough about the importance of its absence. This makes the DLC borderline unplayable.
P.S. You being constantly early can be easily linked to you not following the speed limits at all. You drove through many 30 zones doing at least 40 or above. Understandable, since you're british and for you 30 is quite fast. Just perhaps something to be aware of.
