    Nice driving there mate, my main reason of riding a motorbike in London is exactly the same as yours, cars, buses, vans galore

      It's getting ridiculous in London in terms of traffic.

      Keep up the good work, a fellow Londoner here who soon to be riding again after loosing 2 bikes in London :) I ride super sport though which is harder to filter with in traffic lol Soon my ZX6RR will be ready!

      I thought losing 1 bike was bad enough for me haha. I definitely agree, super sports bikes are a nightmare to filter with, hence the reason I got a naked bike haha. Ride safe!

    I rode that route a couple of days ago and not even a police car with lights and sirens could get through as quick as me filtering

    • @londonsmt0758
      @londonsmt0758  Před 7 lety

      Yhh definitely, would probably be impossible for an ambulance or firefighters to get through because of their size.

    Traffic in London doesn't stop you but it definitely slows you down so I still hate it. I prefer riding normally than filtering.

    In my country (Belgrade, Serbia) this amount of traffic would be disaster not because of amount of the cars but drivers who horns.Red light stop and sound of horns begun, and the guy is last in line.Respect for drivers in this kind of situation and patience they have.

    • @londonsmt0758
      @londonsmt0758  Před 5 lety

      I've had many incidents in the past, with my smaller scooter and my current big bike. But nothing major.

    You would have to be mad to drive in London, especially at peak times

    • @londonsmt0758
      @londonsmt0758  Před 7 lety +2

      I would probably get depressed over time if I drove a car in London haha

    It would be polite to wave at some of them, thanking them when they move aside for you. Maybe you nod at them I don't know for sure, but that would be the polite thing to do ;)

    • @londonsmt0758
      @londonsmt0758  Před 7 lety +1

      Kelly Camera doesn't pick it up but yes I do nod my head. I only wave them thank you if I feel safe removing my hands from the handle bars.

      London's MT07 oh that seems the save way to do it indeed. I said nothing then! In the Netherlands people do not go aside for you, only on exceptions

    if I lived In London I would definitely not drive ether so much faster to filter and cheaper to ride

    • @londonsmt0758
      @londonsmt0758  Před 7 lety

      Yhh the cost is another great benefit of riding.
