- Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace to brandish the power of the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord in the Lands Between. Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between, a fictional realm over which several demigods rule. It was previously ruled over by the immortal Queen Marika, who acted as keeper of the Elden Ring, a powerful force that manifested itself as the physical concept of order.
When Marika shattered the Elden Ring and disappeared, her demigod children began fighting over pieces of the Ring in an event called The Shattering. Each demigod has a shard of the Ring called a Great Rune, which corrupts them with power. In the game, the player character is a Tarnished, one of a group of exiles from the Lands Between who are summoned back after the Shattering. The player must traverse the realm to repair the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord.

Congrats on Morgott! I never struggled on him too much either. def don’t forget to explore the lower levels of the capital, there is a ton there. I’m glad you got the golden seeds today, thats part of what I meant before. but theres a LOT more just outside and inside the capital. a whole new place to explore
39:38 RKR lasts 10 seconds and adds 80% damage to your next attack while active. It’s easier to see on larger weapons but it does give your sword a different look while active. Since it’s a weapon buff it overwrites bloodflame blade and such. It’s really good for when you land a crit.
Congrats on Morgott first try. To be honest you are definitely a bit overleveled but that is only a sign of your excellent exploration skills. The game gives you upgrade materials and leveling potential so steamrolling him because you took the time to thoroughly discover an area is just the payoff for that.

14:25 Victory! Morgott is honestly such a tragic figure. All of the lore we've gotten tells us that Omen, being born with horns, are considered to be malformed and devoid of grace by the Golden Order. And yet, in spite of how the Golden Order hates him... he serves as a Veiled Monarch, serving the Erdtree, protecting it from the Tarnished who would seek to usurp it. He loves that which will never love him in return.

Glad to see you exploring the outer edges of Leyndell! Perhaps a small something to take note of: When you inevitably meet Boc again... make sure to tell him he is "beautiful". The coconuts are lovely.
(There are some catchup stuff as well, but I do think a fair amount of it can wait a while. Elden Ring is somewhat more generous about questlines.)
Yeah, Morgott seems like he actually cares versus some of his peers who are insane or just have a bad attitude. Tragic indeed!
