As a coach myself, I think it is important to be open about your mistakes. I find myself guilty of using the "babys move awesome" rethoric, and you got me thinking about why do I say these statements. Though nothing as insane as these guys, we all must remain skeptical not just of others, but ourselves. Though I believe there is something about being an infant and moving primarily in and from the ground that promotes healthy movement, and movement restriction that develop as we rely more on chairs and supports as we age, I must admit it is a compelling hypothesis, but nothing I can actually back up. I'm a big fan of Dan John and Barbell medicine folks, and I think taking both approaches creates a great middle ground that might stop us from going too coocoo with the functional " noble savage" stuff, and too clinical and "this is the optimal way to take a shit and I won't try otherwise unless there are 50 metanalyses to prove otherwise" extremes. I'm exaggerating of course but hopefully you get the point. Thank you for the reflection.

I’m at a point now where I got my programming on point and I don’t look down on any training method because done right, they all serve a purpose.
That’s not really true though, especially in the context of this video topic. Many methods, especially stability training, are virtually never a justifiably effective approach for any common athletic or fitness goal. For any given goal there are absolutely better and worse approaches, and there are some approaches that simply have no real value, like the nonsense gimmicks of these woke coaches. Zack this is real information I know from experience because last year I was attacked by a bear and when my fight or flight reaction activated I began performing air snatches uncontrollably due to the one thousand million reps that had permeated my nervous system, DNA, and chakra
Im glad u pointed it out from the upset that all this is, is someone trying to get you believe into buying into thier bs so you will pay to learn their ill-advised way of doing things.

A year and a half late, but given that athletes are bigger, stronger, etc. than they ever been before, it doesn't make any sense that their training is compromising their performance. Plus, these athletes are pushing themselves to the own physical limit constantly (Rafa Nadal is a good example), so there is, of course, an increase risk of injury.
You're right on the money, this sort of behavior exists in all the musculoskeletal fields trying to sell you their way of fixing what they say is broken about you.

“Reverse movement technology into forward locomotion”
Good job Zach. I'm a 71 year old trying to keep my Olympic lifting "career" alive . A challenge for sure.
Anyone trying to make sense is interesting to me. I power lifted for 37 years and been in o lifting since 2009. So I've heard all the bullshit forever.
I had guys hounding me to change my squat style when I was 59 and had an (old) age group state record.
All the while I was working out for a meet. Sheesh.....
I always say, people's brain stems are not stupid it's the talking, dreaming part that is.
Good video. Best of luck
The fact that you are using memes and meme music, makes your videos not just informative, but really entertaining too. Great job!
The "woke coach" talking about "reverse movement technology" etc. is 100% a flat earther.
I respect flat earthers more
Saw this video on your IG. Love the content
The editing, adding Virgo as Freud, was amaizing!!!
THANK YOU for making this. Will be removing their vids from my "fitness" playlist, and continuing to implement KOT stuff. Somehow goata came up in my recommended, and they looked really interesting. But like, it's really confusing and counterproductive if I want to build strength at all. Difficult to load yourself by squatting on the outside of your feet - asking for a twisted ankle????!!
Would love to see content of you training with or interviewing mat Fraser to get his thoughts on weightlifting in CrossFit. Great video as always, Zack!
Zack this is real information I know from experience because last year I was attacked by a bear and when my fight or flight reaction activated I began performing air snatches uncontrollably due to the one thousand million reps that had permeated my nervous system, DNA, and chakra
Did you survive?
Alex TheGuy no
Im glad u pointed it out from the upset that all this is, is someone trying to get you believe into buying into thier bs so you will pay to learn their ill-advised way of doing things.
Kings of pseudo science. I loved this man thank you for making this video, Now I know I’m not insane. Bump these clowns off the internet
Love from San Antonio 🙏🏽
The descent to madness using the Golden Wind jojo theme was perfect
good level of petty absolutely loved it. woke coaches actually stressed me out at one point thinking i was making a mistake with all lifting
I find it funny that you played the Deus Ex UNATCO theme, while discussing tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists.
Well done.
Yeah, top stuff. Powerful nostalgia hit too!
I love how zack just asked for ethan from h3 to shout out "it's time to stop!" HAHAHA Just imagined zack coaching my guy ethan haha
It's not just "woke coaches" that need to stop. Wokeness all together needs to stop.
And just when I thought your video couldn't get any better, you called buddy an "assclown" hahaha love it, brother. You've quickly become my favorite YT channel
Freedom units followed by a Vanilla Ice clip...Ya got me. Im subbing 😄
when giorno's theme kicks in lol
In my darker moments when dealing with injury I nearly bought into their rubbish. I don't think this video is petty but in fact, necessary.
WTF is Reverse Movement technology??? 🤯 I´m Personal Trainer and this bull... is the first time that I listen this term... Excelent video and arguments Zack! 😀
I like this video. Zack is a great guy and is smart. I love his videos. Also the first thing I saw when I clicked on this video was the awesome texas a&m jacket. I'm a aggie for life. So me seeing other people wear aggie clothes or supporting the aggies is always awesome. Great video zack
3:30 [Giorno's theme gets ominously louder]
I was gonna write a joke comment, but I was too busy saving the world's connective tissue.
Godbless
A year and a half late, but given that athletes are bigger, stronger, etc. than they ever been before, it doesn't make any sense that their training is compromising their performance. Plus, these athletes are pushing themselves to the own physical limit constantly (Rafa Nadal is a good example), so there is, of course, an increase risk of injury.
You're right on the money, this sort of behavior exists in all the musculoskeletal fields trying to sell you their way of fixing what they say is broken about you.
Did you just quote Feynman? Mad respect yo ❤️
"Aging GOATA Tribe", what like 80+ year olds still competing in Masters weightlifting instead of drooling in wheelchairs like most of their peers? Better call up Miyake-san and tell him 70 years of squatting is going to blow up his achilles someday.
I’m not mathematician or a literary scholar, I only have a lowly MS in physics so I’m no expert but wouldn’t a 1,000 millions just be a billion? 🤔
A million words describing what I, a layperson, call "walking".
Good job, coach. Here's money.
