- Arguably the best sequel ever made, Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) is a staple continuation to its already vastly successful predecessor. The inspiration behind this modern-day trailer lies in putting myself in the viewer seat of a 1991 movie theater witnessing this trailer for the first time on the silver screen while also unaware that a sequel to Terminator has been made. There are no genuine spoilers here. The only information you get is that two terminators have been sent back through time to reach a target. I hope you enjoy this trailer as much as I enjoyed putting it together, and as always, I hope it makes you want to watch this movie immediately.

It's just missing the T800 hanging up curtains or becoming a step dad but apart from that, top notch job.
This is the kind of trailer James Cameron wanted, studio said nope. Actually he wanted it portrayed that the cop would be the hero protecting John against the T800, just to shock the audience when they saw the film

I love that you didn't put the reveal in this, I've seen many different takes but all of them show the reveal which is partially somewhat understandable considering the official trailer did it as well but I don't think it should be use as a excuse.
Brilliant
A few spots could've been tightened up a bit but otherwise you got the whole vibe that modern trailers keep doing these days. Voiceovers over fades to black, and a penultimate moment that leaves the trailer on a high note.
Bad ass. But how can you improve on perfection? This movie is the epitome of timeless.

The genre is good but it still feels like it could've been better. It felt a little to slow and lacked excitement for such a good film.

@@cmackpatt It's all or nothing and T2 was garbage. The entire concept of a good guy Arnold cyborg was just plain stupid. It would have been more acceptable if Arnold was the T-1000 with another human protagonist sent to protect JC. The magic of the first one was it's syfy horror angle and unbridled anybody can catch the fury of the cyborg version of Michael Myers. I could go on but simply put it's killer Arnold or not at all period.
@@michaeltruthson6262 Nah. A sequel is all about defying a viewers expectations with unpredictable narratives. What you just described would simply be a carbon copy of the original. Flipping the script on its head with a sacrificial terminator for a young John Connor with an upgraded cyborg antagonist was everything the sequel should’ve been. I agree that the rest of the sequels are utter garbage, but T2 is a wildly successful continuation and delivers on all fronts. It should’ve ended there.
