thank you so much for posting this townes is one of my all time favorite singer songwriters and a great song it was my brother in laws favorite bluegrass song we use to get drunk and call it in on Saturday night bluegrass sadly he is gone now lost his fight with his demons like townes to hear tvz play this brings back some good memories of my best friend thank you RIP TVZ & AC we,ll all meet again
@ hibob123456 - This is definitely from the Whole concert.I think my old reel tape is the source of most of the versions floating around the internet, but some have ended up incomplete. I was there that night. Later, I taped the rebroadcast of the show off of Minnesota Public Radio and shared it with a prolific bootlegger back in the days of "trading trees" (i.e., about a dozen years before youtube!) Some more Whole Coffeehouse stuff is out there on my channel, including some Norman Blake.
