What is Mixed Reality?
It´s a way to record and show game play to serve a better understanding of how it feels to use Virtual Reality. It uses a green screen to later blend out the room you are playing in and instead blending in the virtual environment life or in video editing. So it´s only a way to show to the viewers, while playing i can´t see my wheel and real hands. So it´s not like Augmented Reality, which will maybe come in a few years and will look similar.

CZcams is a bad joke right now, can't monetize the video because of the word "abuse" in the title, so I changed it to "driven hard"
It's been a while but Mixed Reality is back ;-). I use a different program now and have changed the lighting a bit, hope you like it!
It's really noticeable (y) The keying is much better, and the colours are much more natural! Keep ir up (y)

with the 250GTO, when you oversteer and push the throttle a bit too much, you fail..

Wouldn't it be nice if you could use the Rift as a camera? Like, getting out of your car and observing the other cars passing by. Of course, driving is way more fun though.
a fun idea, we had some plans doing such filming, but haven't done it yet

I've tried it and have done one video yet. It's better than pcars1 and in some good cars very close to Assetto Corsa. For me overall AC is still better and has a more consistent feeling.

Marcel Pfister Do you have a link where exactly you bought it on Ebay? Or is it possibly from a brand?
It was used from a private seller and I don't know for sure from wich car it is. It's 360mm in diameter and dished by ~70mm . I searched for a wooden wheel and this was a quite cheap one without many details.

I have the following
BMW GT2, Formula and Universal Hub from Fanatec and I have 3 wheels for it. A 350mm leather and 360mm wooden from ebay and the old 280mm from my Westfield SE because I've installed a new one.
