I think it's not so much fully evolving that's the issue, it's more that you only had four evolutions to play with after the initial go-around. A better way might have been to have 16 total, so that the six could be done without chipping into the 10 bonus chances.
Maybe next time do the 6 candies on the 6 legends, and then have 10 candies to try make a good team?

I think fully evolving them takes away the risk involved in the challenge. Just include more candies next time :)
It would be cool to see you guys use items every once in a while too! Make more use of some of these random abilities :p
Maybe have the items randomized as well.
15 or 20 randomised items each, and you have to choose wich 6 you take and wich team member they are for.

You guys are a perfect lovable blend of actual Pokémon knowledge and a lack of Pokémon knowledge. I love that you guys weren’t quite 100% sure that Froslass would outspeed maractus, but we’re dead sure that eldegoss would. Froslass is almost twice as fast as Eldegoss.
Starting to miss the timed challenges, maybe a classic 15 minute random encounter quick ball challenge would be cool

Same rules but check the moves and abilities of the pokemon, even the babies, before evolving them again. Let you decide if the trapinch with fissure should be kept over the kabuto with hyper beam. (The other option is the classic "rare candy them until they are fully evolved with 3 skips.")
Should use more candies next time I think, maybe not evolve at the end but I think a few more candies would be nice

Yea i really like the risk of ended up with mons that are not fully evolved, but I think the number of candies you allowed yourself was too limited. Same challenge with 16 or 20 total candies would be great.
I do prefer the videos where the pokemon are not always fully evolved. Makes it interesting and some of the best moments of the series has been when looked over baby mons have put in work

Love the idea here! I feel like with only 10 candies, fully evolving makes sense. If you're not fully evolving, I think something like 12-15 candies would be better so smooth out the RNG a bit.
I like this idea but with 16 candies. 6 candies go right away, and you then have UP TO 10 candies to use. Great video guys!
I would prefer you being able to look at each pokemons moves and abilities prior to evolving them. I haven't bothered running the numbers but you should have around a 50% chance to not evolve into a fully evolved pokemon. Removing those odds really takes the uniqueness out of the challenge. However, being allowed to view moves/abilities prior to evolving adds a layer of strategy.

I much prefer the no fully evolved teams. Adds another level of challenge, cause fighting with a dratini is so much more entertaining to watch than a dragonite.

Love the content as always! Id argue that when its a test of knowledge (colors, PD number, etc) you should leave the babies as punishment but when its up to chance, full evos are fair game. Keep up the videos!

I like seeing non-fully evolved pokemon and it’s part of the gamble. But 16-20 candies would be a better option. Also interesting if you look at abilities and moves after each evolution, a ‘baby’ might be worth it over a big boy with garbage moves.
NEXT VIDEO IDEA: ask your viewers for competetive teams and fight it out, best of 3 with each 3 different teams

Personally would rather see more candy than fully evolving. The threat of babies makes it more interesting
Do a "Back To School" themed episode. You have to go around catching mid-stage (teenager) Pokemon you see. Instead of random moves, they each get 2 moves they learn on their own, and 2 that you teach them from TMs

Pick or take a mystery Pokemon with random encounters. Encounter 2 Pokemon, decide which one you want, or risk it all for the next encounter whatever it is. I've been watching you guys since you played gen 2, sending much love.😊
Personally I would have kept the baby trapinch and rolled the other babies. Trapinch has surprisingly high attack and could have been a semi useful at that stage compared to the others
Fully evolving everything takes away the fun. But it's better than one person having a fully evolved team and one person having babies.
One solution is that, you guys can trade each other upto 3 of your worse mons, the no of trades should be decided in advance though. (Once traded mon cannot be retraded)
Great video guys. Ya the challenge was fine but maybe just add more candies.
Also an idea for a challenge would be a timed challenge where ypu have to catch a team in 2 minutes. Then depending on what you catch adds more time. So if you catch a baby you get another 2 minutes, a middle stage evolution gets you 1 minute. A fully evolved pokemon gets you 30 seconds, and a legendary gets you 0 seconds.

Would love to see an odds vs even gens legends only( 1-8 to make it even number of gens for you guys), must have one from each gen your choice not randomized abilities and able to train and pick moves that they can learn normally in game

I like this video idea, but I think you should do 12 candies. It gives a bit more leeway.
How about a matchup of only non-fully evolved Pokémon. Random evolve until you get a possible mon then you get ten passes that evolve into the next non-fully evolved. You can check abilities and moves; it would be interesting to see what you guys choose to stay with.

I'd like to see you do this type of match again, except you fully evolve your pokemon, make it a double battle, and every pokemon only knows metronome
Video Idea: You each have 30 candies and HAVE to use them ALL on your team of 6 at least one on each team member and use the team your left with.
imo this one is best with keeping the juniors as juniors. Because it keeps the risk in there of "should I throw another candy at this combusken? Could become a Zacian but could also be a cleffa" Meanwhile if you know you could full evo you're just going to keep the combusken.
You know what might be a twist on this? You get 20 candies BUT you have to use them all. So if you have a decent team by 6 candies, you'd still have to use 14 more. As a bonus rule, one pokemon cannot be evolved more than four or five times so that you cannot dump all candies on one team member.
Loved the not fully evo. Although next time maybe do 5 or 6 candies but dont count the first evo so evo all then get a few to fix but keep them as is then.

Video idea, randomly generate 20 Pokémon and do a draft. The twist is that you alternate picking for your team and your opponents
I dont like the fully evolve teams personally I wish yall did more challenges like this where you have to use what you get baby or a legendary and then how you can use them lol love you guys

I think dping this challenge again with fully evolved could be interesting. The suggestion others have made where you increase the number of candies would be interesting as well. Perhaps do 12 candies with only each pokemon atleast once than allow for one baby to be filly evolved. Also perhaps rach one of you setting up your respective pokemon with move sets could be a nice twist versus doing random moves.
Not fully evolving but some more candys. We love some babyjuniors mixed in it
