- Luke and I randomized our starter pokemon in Scarlet and Violet but theres a twist! We wont be able to see our starters! We will be choosing our starters by only knowing thier pokdedex number! Idea: One person gets too see the starters and knows their pokedex numbers. The other person gets 3 guesses per mon.
A: 456
B: Higher
A: 670
B: Lower
A: 650
B: Higher
That's all for the first mon, and this goes on for all the 3 options. You know it is in the 650-670 range. Nothing more. It will be very vague and kind of a hit and a miss considering how well versed Luke already is with the entire dex lol.
Bonus: if by any chance you land on the exact number, give it any ability of your choice

One thing to note about starters, just seeing the first pick, is that it’s always in the order of grass>fire>water, so knowing gen 1 ends at 151 you can deduce 4 places later that it’s Cyndaquil

Knowing Emboar is 500 lets me know how HEAVY the first 3 generations were of pokemon EVEN WITH gen 2s 100 Pokémon.
Because gen 4 after the starters till now we are just over a thousand.
Means 5 the last 5 generations has about the same amount as the first 3 gens (including the gen 4 starters)
That was a great finish to the battle.

When you roll "as one", how do you determine the abilities that go with it?
Because I want to see a battle where all your pokemon have two abilities thanks to "as one", one is the 'mon's natural ability and the other is randomized.

If you pull a legend and the other person doesn’t, I feel like you should only use it as the last mon only, I feel like it would make it more fair since you got a tank in your back yard
not all legends are tanks and most can be taken down very easily. They may be threatening but they aren't unbeatable
