Upon my first shroom trip, my depression disappeared overnight. It shifted my perspective on the way I viewed myself. It showed me that I was stuck in one way of thinking. This was unhealthy mentally and it was affecting me physically. Within 6 months of the trip, my chronic lower back pain disappeared, I'm sure it was due to tension and stress, and hasn't returned.

I hear you bro, grew up in a similar scenario as you and opposite to tom’s but I just wanted to point out that it’s important to know that everything in this world has it’s blessings and curses. my parents never hid their struggles from me and my siblings. It was hard as a younging knowing that I couldn’t help them but today as a grow man i am able to help others with their struggles in any shape and form and I would like to think it’s because of the environment i grew up in. To clarify am not saying people who didn’t grow up in the same circumstances as me can’t also help people but i just feel like being in it for a long time truly makes you understand the necessity of helping eachother through thick times cause no one is making it far in this world on their own. Anyways sending love and guidance to everyone reading this, keep pushing.❤

I love how this is a deep conversation between two people who respect each other and not like a podcast or interview. Huge respect to Jay for not asking Tom anything about his relationship, rather he let Tom share what he wanted and didn't comment on it or ask for more information. Given how much people online want to know about Tom & and Zendaya, it would have been so easy to try to steer the conversation that way to increase views and likes.

@@millsromeI listened to the Meyer Brothers podcast, it's really fun! Always love Tom's interviews because he talks so well, and podcasts are better than tv interviews, more relaxed.

Hearing some1 as charming and handsome as Tom say he needed booze to feel right in a social situation is eye opening. U wouldn't think that bc he seems so confident and friendly. Glad he's been so open about addiction. It helps a lot of ppl

I especially loved when Jay and Tom were talking about their interactions with wildlife, being present and so close to the animals,it's incredible how connected it makes one feel. What I admire about Tom is that he's so down to earth and humble, humility shines through.I really felt like by the end it was just like old pals sharing stories and catching up on life.Thank you Jay for this conversation ❤️

Recently started my sobriety, this was very insightful.
I'v been drinking 2/3 times a week for 10 years and now I'm on a soba path.. listening to Tom was incredibly similar to my past situations, where I was afraid of missing out on social engagements but it's the best thing I've ever done!!
    Love this podcast! ❤

Tom Holland really understands the risks involved with Hollywood 1:16:33 As Tom said, “you can get lost in it” is such a true and bold statement. But I’m just grateful that he has taken time off for himself and had an amazing interview. Let’s go Tom 🙏 Great interview from Jay Shetty.

Tom could totally do a show where he speaks with people (like a podcast or host a travel show where he talks to people about life). He's such a well rounded thoughtful human being who always seems genuine in his interest in others.

It is so refreshing to hear a man speaks so openly, and authentically. He seems to embrace his vulnerability AND also embrace the masculine as well. I’m a forever fan of Tom now :)

36:13 It's such a fresh nice perspective about alcoholism. I know I have a problem since covid "ended" and I didn't end the daily consumption. I tried to stop so many times but each time I would see my friends again, they would push me to have at least a drink, two drinks, one shot, two shots...because we are young let's live, and also I'm not the stereotype of the alcoholic person who does crazy stuffs and causes scenes. I'm a chill alcoholic, I started drinking to calm my nerves, to go to school and be an obedient student. Then it was to have fun, to black out "to enjoy life" and to forget the working week. Except, I know now, enjoying life as nothing to do with being drunk. At least not for me. Tom was lucky to have a supportive circle. I've never had that. Maybe it's time for me to cut off with my friends and seek support elsewhere. It's so hard to do it alone. But it gets even more lonely to be around people who supposed to love you, care for you but never do.

This is one of the best episodes in a long time and sounded like two friends chatting! I love how open, honest and down to earth Tom is, also clearly so respectful of his relationship with Zendaya, a real gentleman!

1:06:51 sign that Tom is actually really good at finding things people love to talk about and ask questions about it. You can see how host's eyes light up after Tom's question. Tom is really high emotionally intelligent

I love this conversation. The story Tom told about taking the social media break and the press spinning the story in a negative light was definitely a missed opportunity. We are definitely in a time where it's becoming more and more accepted to be open and honest and ask for help when it comes to our mental health and I love that this is a part of Tom's mission. Keep up the good work, Tom! You're one of the good ones💛
