Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This CZcams channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

Probably one of my favourite videos so far. Grant did very well on a links course he’s never played and I love James’ calm demeanour and solid play.

how was this your favourite video so far? they are two great guys and the match was decent but lets be real there was 0 intense. no big game changer or anything in this match, ive seen a lot better.
The only bad thing about this match was that it wasn't the full 18 holes!
Robbo and Grant play some really high quality golf, it was a pleasure to watch!

Yeah I was disappointed too. Didn't notice the length of the video and settled in expecting an hour and a half epic video with all the trimmings. Good video nonetheless!

The fact James can hit his PW 128 and 147 on command shows how skilled he is. Really awesome video to watch these guys test each other.
It is very impressive. It gets crazier the better the player. I remember in 2006 when tiger hit a 6i 200-210 yards and the very next hole he was aiming for 155 yards with the same club downhill. There club manipulation is just different.
We are getting spoiled at the moment with all these epic collabs we are being given. Great video, well done Grant for still performing on links, and James is just so solid.
Legit anything with James in it is always a must click. The club challenges a few years ago were the best

Man this video has everything. The intensity , the course looks amazing, stunning in fact. You’d be hard pushed to name two better natured players going head2 head. It’s also sweet that Grant admires Rick and looks to him for advice when Rick remains staunch in his obligation to remain impartial. It’s just A1 Content.

Class. Somehow get a paid trip for James to go out to Grants home track and film an 18 hole match. Great treat for James being awesome on your channel, and an amazing full match that will be. Honestly I think that would be an epic match.

I remember James playing Rick and playing with “garbage clubs” years ago. It just goes to show you, it isn’t the clubs that make you good. It’s all about consistency when it comes to golf.

Funny, was just thinking same thing. Robbo plays like Iceman, fundamentally sound and rarely a bad mistake; whereas opponents will have a loose hole or two which takes them out of the match.

Great video and great match Rick! You mentioned this course in regards to your Pebble beach or Torrey Pines. You kind of brought back memories for me. I only live an hours drive to Torrey Pines. I live close to Rickie Fowlers driving range in Murrieta. The only PGA tour event I’ve ever attended was the 2008 US open. Standing next to the green watching Tiger drain his epic birdie putt tying Rocko Sunday on the 18th hole was so electric and iconic, it kind of spoiled me to watch other events. I need to get over it and attend more PGA events as I have several close to me every year. Thanks for the content

Love seeing the different golf courses in these videos. As a 52 yr old high handicapper it’s only a dream for me to play these sorts of places. Love the fact Rick can’t walk the holes without holding a club.

I played golf as a young teen with my dad and his friends and did well enough to beat some of them. I just got into golf now this past 2 months and got a brand new set of older clubs the Callaway Mavrik drivers, hybrids and irons. The day I got my 5 H hybrid in the mail my wife told me she wants a divorce. It’s been about a week and half now and I haven’t been able to get out to golf yet but watching your videos as of later is really helping me get through my days off when I find myself bored. I’ve only been subscribed for 2 months. I just want to say thank you for the awesome golf content.
