Named for hybridizer and friend Ken Landon's sisters Rhonda Kay is a magnificent purple waterlily with blooms held high above the water.

hey jenn isn't it the nymphae cerulea the egyptian water lily?...how to germinate one from seeds?
Yes cerulea is the species lily found in part of the nile river and other parts of Africa. One of quite a few species from Africa. Seeds are only used in self species crosses and we normally use either tuber reproduction methods for propagation or on the few viviparous tropicals viviparous leaf reproduction. Too few plants are species here most are hybrids so we do not grow them by seed however shallow part sunny conditions in modes nutrient or low nutrient soil would sprout seeds if you had them.
