Release shrimp and forget cleansing of overgrown algae. Release shrimp they will clean them up in 2 days .

Where to get them
@@priyachauhan5132 you can get ornamental colorfull red , yellow , blue shrimps from aquarium , ornamental fish stores for anywhere between Rs. 50- Rs 400 . Get a pregnant female one ... population will multiply into 100s in few weeks .... or 2) get live , healthy shrimp from fish market or mandi .... commonly called venammalai shrimp ... 🍤 . Or get any other fresh water variety shrimp. tip. you will get it by visiting the fish mandi in early morning jogging hours... it's survival rate is also better , algea cleaning efficacy is also better ... than ornamental shrimps 😊

May i know the proportion of soi and cowndung manure for mosaic plant?.. How should i place it? Which is to placed on the bottom of the pot either manure or soil?And is it possible to plant mosaic plant only in soil without cowndung manure? H
Cow dung is added as a fertiliser.. it is optional. But if you are growing flowering plants like water lily and mosaic, you need to add a fertiliser. You can mix them together or keep it in layers (cowdung at the bottom and soil on top) but you need to cover them with pebbles otherwise it will mix up with water

Hey! I followed your video and made a water lily garden... But there is tremendous amount of algae even if I remove layers daily... The roots of the duckweeds have turned green due to algae... How to reduce this algae problem?
Algae is formed due to direct sunlight hitting to the pond. On day 51 I removed all the floating plants in my pond @ 4:43 because of Algae. You can add shrimps to your pond to get rid of alges. They will eat the Algae
i have pond like this but i had to away from home for 3 months when i came home it was completely taken over by algae and common snails and my water lily only has leaves but no flowers also the water is such a dark green colour and the guppies have multiplied a lot. do you have any recommendations on how i can clean the pond im afraid my guppies will die if i change their water
Guppies are easy to handle.. you can change the water and remove the algae.. they will survive without any damage

After how many days should we clean the pond?
Need to look after it on daily basis for algae growth. I remove algae whenever I find them. If you find the quality of water changing, then change the water 30 - 40 %

I had done similarly long back but I failed to notice the growth of plant , when I checked one day my many molly fish were Tangled in the roots and died 😭, then only I realised I should have maintained the plant as well ,

For the first three months it was raining here so I didn't change the water.. After that I changed the water every week about 30 to 50% based on water condition in the pond

Wouldn't adding the manure cause an unsafe ammonia spike for the fish? I would assume the waste generated from the fish and decaying plants would be plenty enough a fertilizer
I buried the manure underneath the soil by wrapping it in a paper.. it has to be done carefully otherwise it will mix up and generate ammonia spike in the water.. Waste generated from fish and decaying plants will also add up as a fertiliser but not to an extent for the flowers (water lily) to bloom. Within a week of adding this fertiliser there was a good result in water lily plant as you can see that in the video & guppies were doing good after adding the fertiliser. I didn't notice any abnormalities in them after that.

I did not add any fertiliser particularly for floating plants.

No. It is very tiny. Smaller than their size
Algae is good for every ecosystem ... don't remove algae ....be keep algae like live plants
That's true but since it is a small pond I wanted to keep the water clear.
@@GreenLounge 😂u want the clean water means add some mechanical filtration ...but u need healthy water means definitely algae helps you out ....too much ammonia and nitrate cause algae 😌so be aware of fishes health and I loved this 🤩please tell where you get this plants 😌
