OMFG. This performance literally brought me to tears, as a grumpy middle-aged music snob of massive bandwidth.
Yeah man! This whole concert is on a dvd, and it’s truly awesome!
And this is, bar none, my favorite Frisell tune.
I have 97 hours of Frisell music where he is the lead or sideman, and of those 97 hours, if I had to pick a favorite single song, this is it. If I could go back in time, I'd go to this moment at the 2002 Montreal Jazz Festival. Just love this combo. This version is even better than the one on the Blues Dream album that was released in 2001. The musicians are the same in this performance, except that session drummer Matt Chamberlain is filling in for Bill's frequent drummer, Kenny Wolleson. I love the smiles from Bill and Matt.

TheJofrica Hmm, possibly, but it's unlikely just de-syncing would make a difference as it's usually the audio they go by anyway.
terrypussypower True. Unless the audio is slowed down, making it out of sync. A lot of uploaders slow it down to avoid copyright. But I haven't heard the original of this performance so I don't know
