I take off in a helicopter, after 10 seconds I get a rocket in the face, Hunter takes off in a helicopter, nightmares the entire enemy team until the end of the fight.

Stay as low as possible, if you can, get your alt to 1. Keep as much stuff between you and the enemy spawn as possible, so mountains, forests, buildings, etc. Flank around until you're behind or beside the battlefield, then take out the AA first. Not a guaranteed way to win, but it has a much higher chance of keeping you alive than just going up and forwards the second you spawn
Tons of factors but position, timing, and a bit of luck. He's often repositioning after a kill or two and stays aware for air threats. Pay close attention to where he is on various maps. He often shows where some of the best spots are for avoiding AA or at least getting the drop on them. Also important to not panick at radar locks. Past videos will show you can often defeat incoming AA missiles with a variety of tricks so long as you spot where it's coming from (map position makes this a lot easier done right).

After unlocking the vikhr in my NM I kinda disappointed at it anti tank capabilities, maybe because I've been using khrizantema for a long time before unlocking vikhr

They were out of range you can escape even in fast heli from +8km if you see it coming

I want the Mi-28NM and the Ka-52 but the heli EC spam is the most boring thing I've ever done. At least for wins it yields amazing cash and xp for wins. Id much rather play the Ka-50 in ground RB despite its problems.

Any tips on how to counter SPAA now. I’ve got up to the AH1Z and since dumbfire can’t take out guided missiles been really struggling to do anything effective with my heli
Using the terrain is the best tactic I think.
Damn, i though it has 360 radar coverage hence the only benefit over Ka-52, now i see that it's worse in pretty much every regard. Nice gameplay as always tho!

The excavator blade is so over rated on most tanks.
Only increase repairs for no increase in survivability since your turret is paper.

Hello my friend, thanks .. if you have TURMS you can unlock all the tree efficiently, but Object 120 sounds interesting as well, it has 152mm APDS-FS with penetration up to 405mm at 7.3BR haha.
Oh dam okay. Thanks. I would use the turms but with America I used the t114 and then the m901 with talisman lol. They don’t have the best grinders for the tank tree. And as an Xbox player I can only get the Chrysler not xm1

Russian bias doesn't exist. So what if Gaijin purposely nerfs NATO tanks from the 1980s by 50% while adding Russian tanks from the 2019s. It doesn't mean there are Russian bias, because you can still kill a single ka-50 easily with 5 SPAA players.

It’s a great helicopter. Decent AAMs, hellfire but more would be nice. And incredible manoeuverbillity which is the only thing necessary for helicopters

It took years with Mi-24D, BO-105 and AH1G in Heli EC and Ground RB.

Meanwhile my hellfires refuse to lock get stopped by light bushes and it takes like 3 hellfires for one mbt.
i think that hellfires have the issue that reddeffect said that top attack missiles depending of the perspective when they attack the object they can hit the tracks and other parts and not damaging or destroying the objective
I wish they let us choose to fire the Hellfire in direct mode not top down, this will make it simpler and more reliable.

Doesn't other thing is the facility to put vehicles in the game, being Russian make things easier when you talk about Russian vehicles because the government will allow you to get the licences more easy
@@ser43_OLDC just because it's easier to add them doesn't mean they should be added without a counter on other nations. T-80BVM is arguably the best tank right now, Tunguska is one of the best if not the best SPAA in the game, there are things like Khrizantema and BMP-2M, Ka-52/Mi-28NM has no equal in any shape or form(even the KA-50 is one of the best despite not being top dog), Mig-23MLD rules the sky in air-superiority and Mig-27M is quite a potent CAS aircraft (I cannot say it is the best but it's up there in top 3), when you combine them all they become a huge problem for any other nation in Ground RB.

I actually got myself a HAD with 8 Hellfires. And I have more luck with Mistrals rather than with atgms. On some maps, Hellfires are great, but on the majority of others? Not so much. Maybe I am doing something wrong, or the behavior of these atgms made wrong by Gaijin. One of the reasons why I was using a plane more often lately. I have this idea that if it's not a soviet atgm, it's a bad atgm. Up to a point that HOT is better than a Hellfire because Hellfire kinda sucks with hitting targets in cover, like when you can see only half of the turret or target is in the woods.
I dunno, kinda disappointed, the money and time spent poorly. Especially when you see how soviet atgms fly on videos such as yours.
I'm not sure I understand what you just said about Mistrals, they're currently doing very poorly. A single flare and they're out, and don't even get me started on IRCM.
But it is true Hellfires are very bad against helis ever since "Ground Breaking" was released, I'm not sure why.
What can I say ? The Tiger HAP is a huge scam. Mistrals are not working anymore, the 30mm is shit, HOT-3s are shit, the rockets are shit (they have a 1/7th of the explosive mass of the russian rockets) : everything is shit about this helicopter.
So I thought that "Maybe the HAD could save the french helis ?". Hard no.
The Hellfires are useful on like 5 maps. HOT-3s, which aren't great, are usually better because most maps have either trees or bushes.
Mistrals are still dogshit and so is the 30mm.
I don't get how it is 11.0, the HAD is probably one of the most uptiered vehicle in the entire game.
Worst thing is that it could be good if Gaijin gave it historically accurate Mistrals (or 30mm, or rockets, or ATGMs actually).
Like, Mi-28NM & Ka-52 can get anti-everything missiles, the best rockets an heli can carry, the best 30mm canon and the best survivability but the Tiger HAD can't get 30G Mistrals ?

There is not a single armament on this heli that's historically accurate. On the other hand, russia get the very best ... everything. It's fucking pathetic.
@@totolescargo well Mistrals should not go UP and then go after a target. They have two engines and are capable of flying straight from the pod. So Gaijin did it wrong, I know a report is in the works, but you know... Still, I score 2-3 kills with them.
Is HAP a scam? I do not agree, while it is a very weak premium heli, it generated a lot of SL and crew points for me on different slots. It's ok. Not great, but manageable.
About russia getting the very best. Dude. BVM is basically the only soviet tank worth noticing. Still, it has a slower reload, bad vertical guidance, bad turret rotation speed. Soviet tanks suck in this game. Planes? Well in the context of CAS they are kinda on a level with NATO planes. I mean, if you play Germans, a Phantom still has zuni and that's 3-4 kills.
Basically, it all comes down to helicopters and on this regard soviets are superior.
They should put to the Frenchs the Spanish HAD that instead of using hellfires they use the fire and forget Spike Er with 8km of range

@@Lxcx333 If you didn't notice, He defeated one of the SAMs coming his way by hitting it with his own Proxy-fuzed ATGM. There is no SPAA that has more than 8 missiles while the Ka-50s can carry 12. That's not balanced at all.

I honestly feel like this is the way Gaijin balances nations against USSR/Russia. USSR/Russia gets the best helis, while NATO and every other nation gets CAS with great ground pounding capabilities.
Mig 27 and later generation jets get incredible pay loads
And also helicopters are a lot cheaper than jets. For example the F-4E Phantom II with maverick did 800 spawn points but the Russian ka52 for example is 520 max payload
You can spawn in a tank, capture one point, die and spawn in a ka-52 and proceed to kill 6 players before dying. Ka-52 players also camp spawn points so alot of players that respawn don't get a chance to leave, end up dying with no more spawn points and half the team is going in a few minutes.

Im talking about the Vikhr weapon system, having the ability to kill planes cause of proxy fuse is nothing broken about it...it has proxy fuse irl exactly for that use....to kill potential air targets too.So yeah... Its how they work irl like I mentioned in the previous comment. To be more specific Vikhr missiles were nerfed a while ago due to specification documents that were leaked and presented to gaijin, and the nerf was quite significant, lower tnt equivallent and also quite the penetration reduction from 1000mm to 800mm. Also another thing, if you have some legit evidence of how nato weapon systems work and their exact real life values you can always make some historical reports in the wt forum page, they look these things up, considering they have changed a lot of thing over the last updates, like turret rotation speeds, reload rates, armor values etc etc.

And players have raised a lot of concerns over the authenticity of NATO tanks all over forums ever since top tier was added. Gaijin even responded by saying they purposely alter certain characteristics of vehicles to "reach balance". The strv122 for example, never used the dm33 with 450mm of penetration. They have always used the slppr m/95 with 600mm+ penetration. There are multiple documents and military data from the Swedish military. This is an example of gaijin purposely ignoring data and "balancing" the game in however fictional ways they see fit.
For example, Gaijin made the Krisantema's missile a one-hit kill that can lock onto you anywhere through smoke. That's fine, it's "realism". But yet they go around and nerf the NATO spike (top attack) missiles and rendering them almost useless, despite them being able to destroy tanks in one massive explosion.
ah yes a 2019 attack helicopter for an already overpowered nation while the US still has 90s MBTs and a AH64D with the wrong hellfires
"overpowered nation" that doesnt get thermals for at least one BR before every other nation does and doesnt get stabilizers until 7.7 when germany gets both at 7.0, and vertical stabilizers for their ww2 vehicles.
@@SteveIsHavingMC Germany doesn't have stabilizers at 7.0, they get at 8.7 with TAM and Leo 1A1. As a main Germany, yes! Germany is pretty good at low and mid tier as well as Russia, but in high tier is not so great, the EC 665 UHT have PARS but have been nerfed and can be easily fooled, the MIG 21 is just air to air, the F4F Late doesn't have guided bombs and just have 2 AGM65B, the 652mm of the DM53 of Leo 2A6 sometimes glitches and doesn't work 60% of the time against the KONTAKT of T80BVM, to be fair, the most overpowered nations in top tier are USA and Russia because the big amount of variety of weapons in ground and air, Germany performs well but there is a big change Germany loses if Russia and USA are in the opposite team.

Having a skilled jet or helicopter pilot can make the difference in game. Having skill in a SPAAG doesn't matter though. Gaijins logic...
I love your videos, Hunter, but these Russian heli videos just drive me insane. How your missile is still tracking that F-5 after he pulls hard left, shooting down a defenseless AH-1G, smoking a G91 from 5k away traveling at speed... It's awesome but so, so fucking irritating as a US main. Just doesn't feel like the other countries have viable counterparts for something so incredibly powerful.
I understand, I totally do because I'm not a fan of Ka-52 nor Vikhr missile, I got rekt a lot by it when I'm in a supersonic jet flying at 1100km\h, it is just unfair. This video doesn't mean I agree on the status of Vikhr, I'm just showing it and leaving the opinions for the viewers. @@Hunter_i86 When you think about it there's really no point in having tanks or jets in ground forces. A ka-50/52 is equivalent of 3 tanks and 1 spaa. Everytime a ka-52/50 spawns, it can do more work that 4 tanks combined.
