Sorry for the fps drop, it is been a problem for the last two days, I tried everything I know .. no result, I made a report about it and will support the report with this battle as well. The battle starts at 140fps and settles on 60fps in the last two minutes. This only happens in actual battles, there is no problem in test and custom battles.

@@luansoares9834 The video looks fine because YT videos max fps is 60, so the problem is not noticeable on YT but in the actual gameplay the stuttering is annoying because the monitor is 144hz and the fps is 60-70, the huge difference between refresh rate and fps causes very annoying slight consistent stuttering that really hurts eyes and brain.

same problem here, yestarday my game was stable at 120 at the max graphics, today i started and every match i played the fps dropped to 30-40

12 10km ATGMs with only 520 spawn points is just unfair, it should cost more, like 60 points per missile(720 if carrying 12 missiles)

This video perfectly sums up about 100% whats wrong with this game. 1 kill and you get access to ka52 with 12 vikhr missiles that can shoot down EVERYTHING IN THE GAME, sams, AA, aircrafts, helicopters and tanks. TOTALLY BALANCED.
Yeah right for you we should have a shield of the force of Christ to protect every tank for missiles so it’s more realistic

To be fair there are very few actually dangerous helicopter players in the game. Another issue is that even if team a is playing against soviets, there are no sam units on the ground. Which is kinda dumb considering how cheap helicopters are. There are very few good spaa players as well.
Helis are hard countered by SAMs with manual guidance, especially the ones with Hellfires. SAMs have an advantage in terms of spotting and usually have faster missiles, on top of that gaijin made it very difficult to destroy a missile mid flight.
@@kostab92 imho there's vikhrs and there's nothing else. As for sam missiles go faster. On Tunisia there was a situation with ka52 high and sam. I was watching this epic battle from a side in my leclerc, sam was launching missiles by a lock directly into ka52, which simply blow them up and destroyed that sam because a helicopter has more ordnance.
Kinda silly way to use sam.
As of late i only use lock to identify a target position and then it's no lock launch, be it a plane or heli.
The Ka-52 is not easy to fly. Especially now if he is discovered, everything, everyone will immediately begin to attack him, since he is a threat to everyone. Somehow I did not notice the special desire of everyone to immediately shoot at the EC-635 Tiger when it appears in sight. But on the Ka-52, it is skill players who can get the most out of its capabilities. It's nice to look at.

yo Bro nice gamplay btw dunno if u know that but sometimes i dogged enemy aam with my own agm so i got alert for rocket startet so i looked at the enemy aa and launched 2 agm missls at the enemy aa the first missle is for the enemy aam so i kill the missle and the secnd agm is for the enemy aa :) just a tipp works sometimes nice game have fun
Hunter, what do you think about the Damage of ATGM's currently in the game (across the board) Does the Alligator fire ATAKAs? Personally, I understand trying to balance helicopters, but I think taking away there firepower is a terrible way to do it, these missiles should obliterate tanks in one clean hit 😂 6:14 - Prime example - A perfect shot, and just 2 crew!

The damage model in this game is roughly realistic. Don't complain, Helios are strong enough
Hello dear Turny, they are fine in my humble opinion .. for balance as you said, also the best Russian missile againt tanks is not Vikhr, not Ataka .. it is Khrizantema and Mi-28NM carries a limited amount of it .. I would love to see Gaijin fix the zoom in\out with mouse wheel and the fps problem, the battle started at 140fps and settled on 60fps for the last two mins ☹
@@Hunter_i86 Good to know your thoughts! 😀 I lost the mouse wheel zoom a long time ago when I switched it to Flares / Weapon selection 😂, but now you mention it, I bet it is really useful for helis.... Yes, that FPS issue must be really annoying :/ possibly a memory leak somewhere if it is getting worse over time, hopefully they can patch that soon!
The damage model is a problem but the biggest one with the ka-50 is it's impossible to shoot down in the first place, the proxy and flares makes it impossible for anything in the air, and it's direct fire vikhr will proxy sam missiles, plus hellfires will take years because gaijin won't add custon LOAL modes
so fluid in the heli
FYI they buffed Ka-52's ircm so it defeats any stingers, haven't tested against Mistrals or Chinese ones but since mi-35m was able to defeat latter then kamov can too
The same situation with mistral missiles, no lock or missile goes sideways. Most of my rare kills of ka52 and mi28s are with a AC or atgm.
Also mistrals have like 6km range, the ka50 usually stay 8 to 9km from battlefield

Yeah, Russian top tier isn't biased at all. I wish that Gaijin will buff Hellfire's speed or maximum range. I feel so weak with AH-64D against Kamovs or Mi-28s. 475m/s and 8km is not enough to compete with them.

Edit: my apologies, I was misinformed. It's not m/s but km/h. So yeah, you're right, I take my statement back about the speed. But still the range is low.
@@hiimzdeny__2878 Range is alright the main problem with hellfires in the game is that they arent direct fire which makes it really hard to use especially with gaijin's buggy locking and laser tracking system. The reason it doesnt affect the vhikirs as much is because you can see the missile and it is direct fire so it is less impacted. Not russian bias just shitty game

I believe the SM series and Su-39 are the only ones that can carry them in combat
@Hunter Would You rather go for ka-52 or mi-28NM ? i am at crossroads in tech tree and not sure what to go for. Got both ka-50 and swedish mi-28a and i seem to prefer mi28. Just not sure about Mi28 at 11.3 vs ka-52. Big fan of your videos :)
Ka-52 a little bit better when it comes to agility, you can barrel roll and dive easier with Kamov. I love Mi-28NM more .. better targeting for 30mm, 3 radar modes, Khrizantema missiles with 1200mm pen, and the main reason it carries the nickname "Super Hunter" 😎

@@michacichy8007 the main difference is the climb rate. Ka-52 climb is 30-40% faster. The Ka-52 also has 4 Ilgla's that can be useful. The Mi-28NM radar is much better - a wider viewing angle and faster scanning. Also, the Mi-28NM can take 16 Ataka atgm, which on some maps are better than 12 Vikhr. The Mi-28NM and Ka-52 are both good.
What keybinds do you use for things such as manual roll mode or maw on/off and countermeasures?
I press manual roll only once per log in, so it is "U" button, countermeasures button is C on helicopters and planes, I free look with ALT + MOUSE.

@@Hunter_i86 True, I tried with the mouse software to speed it up but it's still slow. Someone suggested me to use Autohotkey to bind multiple mouse scroll but I didn't tried, maybe it's a possible workaround.
hunter i have same problem (i5 11400f , 2x8 3200mhz C16 , gtx1060 6gb oc) befor 170 fps after40-30 fps in game , im so sadge this problem i cant play

helis / jets really mess up the game (10.0-11.0) if you just want to drive a tank for a leisurely round it's no longer fun, even the best flag is useless

That fps problem is general I guess. Me and my friend having fps problems too.
I'm reinstalling WT 93GB right now, doubt will solve the problem .. but I just don't know what to do else.
@@Hunter_i86 It did not helped for my situation. Its still dropping fps. In my opinion, at some point the game optimization got F'd. Because I was playing with high settings without particle and etc but having 120+ fps almost stable. Hope it works for you tho.

@@mtxdp4392 that’s just no true, America suffers at top tier while Germany and of course Russia thrive. They need to add more M1A2s with at least gen 2 thermals and eventually work the way up to a M1A2 SEPV4 with a TUSK armor package and hard kill active protection system. It’s just not fair that Russia gets all these modern vehicles while the US is stuck with the original M1A2. Would be nice if our Bradley could get its ERA as well.

Guy gets a Ka-52 and Mig-23 after 1 kill and russian players still claim their WR's are related to allied players being dumb.
If it's up to me I would increase SP of airforce, make the battles longer and in bigger maps.

It's just bullshit. My UHT costs over 100 SP more and is worse. I have both Helos and yes the Ka52 is significantly better.
Ka-52 is better and UHT is very unique, the only chopper with F&F missiles.

The fact people ague the helis armed with vikers is balanced is baffling 😂 clearly y’all haven’t fought a group working together we enjoy all spawning in mi 28s and Ka 50s at the same time all focusing spaa off the bat then clean up the remainder of the team while keeping an eye on the spawn for new spaa. If they use spawn protection it’s very easy to just go down land and just rearm and repeat the process (also if they do manage to kill one of us we just get into a mig 27 go to space and focus spaa)
I don't get mad when I get killed by a bomb or ATGM while I'm using my tank, and I don't get mad when I play FPS shooter carrying SMG and get sniped from 300 meters away. There is a weapon for every situation and in War Thunder there are different vehicles with different roles as well.

I uninstalled the game due to an easyanticheat shit problem, i reainstalled the game on steam an since that i have 25 fps in rb, i usually run 150 fps...

Haven’t played Helis recently. Too much grind, pain, and money for that. However before I stopped grinding I was able to to Finish the KA line, The Ah-1Z, Ah-64A, and Up to the Mi-28N
From what I learned is that it takes some skill or at least knowledge to do as well as Hunter did in the video. There are not too many dangerous helo pilots. Their lethality remains on the ability to not be detected and how good their reaction times are. Sams have the upper hand due to radar, faster missles, foliage and hills to hide behind with clear lines of sight.
In short. Helis aren’t actually too OP, it’s mostly the player and how they play.

I love playing against the Russians, the battles are longer because they keep spawning in tanks.

I came here specifically after watching a real life video of the ka-52 destroying some incredible amount of vehicles, and it really felt like a game or just a shooting range.
