- Hey everyone! After the first episode of Season 10, Bill has really grew on me. I didn't like her that much in the short Introduction video because the dialogue was waaay to cheesy. Now she's just incredibly relatable and gorgeous! I might even believe it was not actually Moffat who wrote that childish dialogue in the video.. (the intro I'm talking about is • Introducing the New Co... )
Bill's story with Heather is, even after all those cheesy effects, really going somewhere I think. Maybe Bill/Pearl will leave the show after she has found Heather. How great would it be if we saw Clara again? Because seriously, it seems like Moffat has plotted the entire series arc around Bill looking for Heather which is basically a mirror for Twelve looking for Clara.
Anyway, I've got high hopes for this season. Still miss Clara so much though. Just.. The way we could Twelve VIBRATE around her. He was so happy and fulfilled and just enjoying life. Something is empty about him now, like that story of the princess unable to sleep because of one bean under her sheets. Peter is an amazing actor and can definitely convey what 12's heart is secretly broken about.. The way he just screams at Bill for no reason when he decides to not wipe her memory shattered my heart. He is so hurt, so hurt.. Well, it's a big universe, and maybe one day he'll find his Clara again.

OH GOD, when you matched 12's lecture to his times with Clara, 'the time when you fall in love'- that look. oh this video has to be one my favorites. it's done so well. the parallels. i really really miss clara.
the montage of 12's life during his class speech was brilliant.
I don’t think that Bill is a companion in the usual sense. The fact that she’s openly gay exchanges the predictable sexual tension for something unique: the greatest student the professor/disguised doctor has ever had teamed with the greatest teacher anyone could ever hope for. Twelve sees Bill’s potential and starts challenging her from the first time they talk. (“You ever get less than a first, it’s over. A first, every time.”) He rejoices in her intellectual adventurousness (“I hope you realize I’m gonna try everything’) and the connections no one else makes (“He [the first doctor] is you…he’s one of your old faces.”) Perhaps most welcome to his exhausted spirit is the sense of wonder she brings to every adventure. And the best part is that he knew it from the first. “Most people, when they don’t understand something, they frown. You…smile.”
A gasped at the part where you cut together Bill saying "She was inviting me to fly away with her" and then Clara asking Twelve the same thing. That was brilliant. I didn't see that parallel the first time watching. Lovely and so sad. Great video!
"the day you fall in love" i like to believe that the moment The Doctor fell in love with Clara was during the snowmen kinda like a "love at first sight" and Clara did when she saw him from her window in the bells on St John. Although it's obvious that Oswin and The Doctor had something going on in the Asilyum of Daleks. They're just so in love and this is beautiful to watch (especially with the 12th) I love this video way too much btw
But yeah when Bill said to the doctor that imagine if someone did that to you ... and he remembered that he made him self forget Clara
I wish that Pearl Mackie, Matt Lucas and Peter had another season together. They were a good team.
i hope that they gonna bring back Clara just one last time before Twelve regenerates. To meet again for one last time... to say goodbye. and to remember her just for a moment. i hope they are gonna bring her back like Amy. That would be nice.
I'm so happy with this video. One of the saddest things about Clara's departure was how the door was so firmly shut in the Doctor's life. He can't have pictures of her on his desk like River or Susan, doesn't have a tomb stone, like with Amy. Can't pop by to see how she's getting on as with Sarah Jane, Martha or even Donna. He effectively was robbed of a chance to properly grieve, as were we. And it was brilliant, but it was painful. And I was so worried the showrunners wouldn't make reference to Clara, as with the Christmas special where the Doctor mentioned losing someone only for it to be River he was talking about. But then her theme started playing and Bill made that comment, and it felt so right. So right that it is BECAUSE of what happened with Clara that Bill is allowed to keep her memories. And, ultimately, become a companion.
omggg!! This is so bittersweeeet. i miss clara and 12th doctor 😭😭😭
Dammit now I'm crying :( I miss Clara so much. The scene were Bill asks the doctor "How would you feel if someone erased your memory", my heart just broke :(
I had to watch it again without freaking out how well done it's made. My goodness, the parallels. I feel like he's really looking for Clara. i wish that she would come back when he regenerates.
to tears seriously. I don't know how you did it with Parallels and dialogues to convey the relationship of the Twelfth and Clara. indeed the reference to Clara pushed ill and I sincerely hope that Clara at least references will appear in the season.
i must say. billy sold me on the mind wipe scene. her anger was so good and subtle.
"The day you fall in love." Oh my gosh. Ughhhhh it hurts so bad.
Here's my idea for the Series 10 finale! So as the Doctor prepares to regenerate when the familiar wheezing noise of the TARDIS can be heard and the diner appears. Ashildr and Clara quickly rush out and Clara cradles the dying Doctor, repeating 'You'll be ok, I know you don't know who I am but once we were very close. Goodbye...' Clara reveals what she had said in the Cloisters in Hell Bent and watches the Doctor regenerate from afar. She then walks into her TARDIS and heads for Gallifrey. Also maybe at the end of the episode after the credits roll we see Clara on Gallifrey asking to be put back on the trap street, giving final closure to the character...

Love this video!! Love Peter Capaldi. Love Twelve and Clara. Love his new relationship with Bill. Love how he just sits there and talks life with her. Love how he tapped her in the chin. So affectionate and cute. PETER CAPALDI, WHY ARE YOU LEAVING???
