I went to 3 consultations. The prices varied quite a lot for the same treatment. 7 trays at one office was $500 more than at the other office. Another office yhought I needed 11-12 trays which cost even more. Definitely go around and get some quotes.
My teeth aren’t ridiculously bad yet I was given 21 attachments. It’s been such a pain taking my trays off, I feel like I’m doing more damage than good for my teeth. This makes me never want to eat so I don’t ever have to take the trays out. I’m only on tray 1 but I dread the thought of moving on to tray 2 and so on…
@@venictos Do you mean there was a big physical difference for you between trays 1/3 so that made the attachments better? Or do you just mean that by tray 3, your mindset had improved? I'm just like OP. I just started yesterday and have a darn good smile already, so having a handful of attachments is making my morale is super low and I'm regretting this process.
@Vera F i didn't see any difference between the first few trays, but you will definitely feel it in your mouth when flossing. I just started tray 9 today, and i smile without thinking about the attachments; no one even notices them. Do not regret the process. It will 100% be worth it in the end.
The commitment for the sake of vanity is crazy. Invisalign is a lot of work. I opted for regular metal braces for my second time. But I am old and nobody looks at me anyway. The braces werent for cosmetic reasons but for funcuntion reason btw.
I find that video one of top educational attachments videos I have watched, is a must watch to every one in your family, friends, with braces, or going to have Invisalign treatment.💯🙏👋👋👋
invisalign is not for the inconsistent like myself. also they made my teeth yellow! the attachments especially are yellow around and i use electronic toothbrush i floss and i use whitening products. UGH! also annoying for snacker’s i need to keep taking them off during work so i can eat 😫
3 months in and I approve this message. I use the at home Colgate whitening strips. That yellow tint bothers the crap outta me. Honestly everything about this is not for the weak. Well worth it when you see your teeth move I hope.
I just started Invisalign a few weeks ago, set 3/20 goes in tomorrow. I have attachments on almost all of my teeth except for two on the bottom and 4 on the top row. Week 9 I go back and get more attachments on the top row (every tooth on the top row will have them then).
Today is my first day wearing Invisalign. I have attachments also. It's been 4 hours since the dentist installed them so this will be my first time removing them for lunch. I'm a little nervous.
Have you ever ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and had peanut butter stuck to your teeth? That’s what these attachments remind me of. When ever I have the opportunity to remove my Invisalign, my tongue wants to clean them off my teeth. And, my molars hurt. That is all.
Hello,,the attachments made from composite resin, are safely removed with precision tools and professional experience, ensuring no harm to your teeth. not an expert I got this info from Kriss Ai.. hope this help.
I found this removal applicator on amazon, it’s a game changer ! You hook it in like you would with your finger tip and then pull out and down. it doesn’t hurt and is so much easier. I’m only on day 4 and still getting used to using it BUT when I had to use my finger tips/nails I was in a lot of pain struggling to get the aligner off my attachments and that’s now stopped. Hope this helps :-)
I hv the tool but still its so painful to remove them they gave u alot of pain couldn’t use any tool also its hard to temove them 😖 the pressure and pain they give is unbearable
Great video Ty! So I’m on tray 2/27 ( I’m 56!!!). On my lateral incisors I have what seems to be large triangle attachments, that’s what bothers me the most about it all. Do you ever hear of removing them at some point during the journey if all is going well? 😬
Actually earlier i had done braces treatment but my dentist did not put the final string, due to which i again have the gaps between my teeth and now i got my invisaligners, and 2 of my attachments got fallen on 1st day itself, after telling my dentist she said that i have some impression of attachment material left on my teeth from last braces, therefore now the attachments are not getting stuck on it and its my day 4 but had not been called for putting on the attachments . Do you have any suggestions mam?
At first they were really annoying but they wear down after a week or so. I’m still a kid so it probably bothers me more so trust me. They are also quite sharp. I got blisters that were really painful under my tongue because of them. It also makes the trays slightly more difficult to remove but it’s only annoying for the first couple of weeks.
I have had invisalign for a month and 4 weeks 3 days and the most annoying thing about them is having to take them off for eating and then having to brush. It also affects me at school because you can’t have snacks really because break time is too short to take off and brush effectively. Also when ur friends have really good food and they offer you some like a tiny corner of something, you can’t because you have to brush your teeth after.

Also, I am very sad that with all those attachments it‘s not invisible anymore. You can see right away that I wear braces at the age of 30. I am really disappponted..
Hi. I went in to get my invasalyn put in today. He gave me 1 months worth of trays and said I should come back in 1 month for them to put in the attachments. I don't see why he would have me wear aligners for 1 months before putting the attachments in. So I walked out and left the aligners with them. I have to wear it got 11 months so it makes no sense for me. Have you heard about doctors doing this?
My attachments are a mess. Some of them fused 2 teeth together, stopping me from flossing between them, and some of them are so messy that I can feel them spread all over the bottom and underside of the tooth. What should I do?
I also now have fused teeth after having attachments, so I can't floss properly. Am going back to the dentist as soon as I can to get them hopefully sorted. Also my teeth now feel horrid and rough all over due to the excess glue. I'm now wondering if this is all worth it.
