Introduction :- In today’s world, science is just not a word, in every aspect of our life there must be some role that science plays.
In every point of our life, we must use some machine, some scientific things which we do even not know that it is included in our daily ways.
We must say that science came a long way from ancient time to the present day of our life. Now a days science has no limits. Imagining a world without science is like imagining death or the ultimate end. It is because science is something that has forever been a very intricate and integrated part of our lives.
* Science is part of our life not only today but from the ancient time. Since when our Ancestors lived in forest, used so many scientific methods in their daily life. Now in Modern life style science changes our comfort, health, living style, entertainment, education and countless things which we can imagine. Science also changes human nature, thinking style. Now people believes in truthfulness. They leave superstition, and tradition.
* At present, old cottage industries are either finished or deteriorated but science has contributed in its best form to adorn the modern world. Existence of science itself is the introduction of its ruling over the world. Hence, it is necessary to understand the nature of science.
Meaning and Definition :- Science is originated from two Latin words, are ‘seire’ means ‘to know’ and ‘scientia’ means knowledge.
* In other word science means the knowledge which accepted by brain and delivered to other in words. Science is a chain of knowledge to deliver to other, and also stepping up of knowledge by itself.
* According to Woodburn and Obourn, “Science is that human behaviour seeks to describe with ever increasing accuracy of the events and circumstances that occur or exist within our natural environment.”
Nature :- “Science is the body of knowledge obtained by methods, based upon observation”.
The above definitions clearly reveal that science is both a process and product.
* Science = Process + Product = Methods + Knowledge
* Science changes the today’s world. Our attitude, thoughts, hobbies, and interests have been changed because of science development. Organic product to eat, 5D entrainment, High Speed traveling machineries and countless equipment make easy our life. Dr. D.S. Kothari indicated that “The fundamental process and philosophy adopted in this report for restructuring the education is based in the belief that the planned and intense education in the field of science and technology being imparted for the welfare, process and security of the country depends on the volume of researches and the quality.”
* Without Science we cannot think about our modern life style, science help us in such a way that are -

In Medical & Health
In Industry
In Communication
In Transport
Recreation
In Product of Petroleum
In Food Product
In Space (Astronomy)
Science in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry
* In conclusion, we must admit that science and technology have led human civilization to achieve perfection in living. However, we must utilize everything in wise perspectives and to limited extents. Misuse of science and technology can produce harmful consequences. Therefore, we must monitor the use and be wise in our actions.
