Wow i live less than 10 k away from that place in Veberöd. ;) Also if you dive all the way to the bottom of stenbrottet you can see the old machines that got left behind.

Cool that you discovered Dalby stenbrott. I have been coming there since the 80s. In Sweden we call these wonderful places "smultronställen" The water was much higher before. Did you know there is lots of cars on the bottom of the lake. Like a graveyard of cars.

It seems that you like outdoor life. If you decide to explore a little more of Sweden's nature, I can recommend Skärgårdsbyn 50 minutes by car from Norrköping
You can rent kayaks, small boat with an outboard engine and explore one of Sweden's most beautiful archipelagos with over thousand islands. Or take a swim from the sandy beach or rocks. There are cabins for rent.

Hey! Why not invest in a drone if you plan go to other places outside Malmö, or to other places in Sweden. You get so cool pctures with them. I understand why you chicken out. I have also done that. Happened when a friend promised it was safe to jump from a 15 m cliff at a quorry like that you visited. But I chickend out too.
You need permission for drones with cameras though and not that easy to get.

It is always smart to take a look for yourself before diving. Never trust anyone saying that it is OK.
Is this an old quarry? Or a natural formation?
Stenbrott is the Swedish word for quarry.
