THANK YOU THIS WORKED!!! EVEN THOUGH THE KEY DOESNT GO ALL THW WAY IN YOU STILL HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE DASH LIGHTS DO COME ON. DIDNT WORK THE FIRST TIME BUT THERE WAS NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH EITHER.

Hi ! About a year ago the fob key on my audi q5 2011 stopped working all of a sudden, I took it to audi dealer they made another key and still didn’t do anything, than they said the control module underneath the passenger seat might be faulty. They would’ve charged me $1500 to fix it but I refused . Any ideea if that could be the problem? The guys from the dealership weren’t sure either

Does you remote light up when you push the button?
Is the battery bad?
Use a remote tester to see if it transmits.
