- This cancer pathway lecture explains about the KRAS mutation leading to the development of cancer.
Mutations of the k-Ras gene arise in over ninety% of pancreatic carcinomas. No different human tumor comes shut in mutational frequency. The ras pathway is most important within the transmission of growth-selling alerts from the telephone floor receptors, ultimately toward the nucleus where these alerts have an effect on the creation and regulation of other key proteins. It's exciting that despite the fact that most mutations in genes are expected to reason their inactivation, with the Ras genes the reverse happens - they emerge as more energetic in signalling. This is considering of the engineering design of the protein. The ras sign is became off by using a molecular switch, which depends upon an enzyme endeavor. In picturesque terms, the nucleotide GTP (guanidine triphosphate) engages the swap to maintain it within the "on" state. A component to the Ras protein has an enzyme endeavor (a GTPase) which cleaves the GTP. This turns the change "off" after the temporary "on" period. Definitely, the mutations of Ras do indeed inactivate a operate, as most mutations are anticipated to do. The GTPase is inactivated via the mutations. However this now signifies that GTP continues to interact the change, and the Ras signalling function is unable to be grew to become "off". A quantity of drug firms at the moment are investigating ways to abate the signalling perform of Ras, which might provide a rational cure for pancreatic cancer.

You've done a great job to help break thru a very complicated concept. Thank you!
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
seriously man!! any topic i search for, you have a video for it .. very helpful
This was a very informative lecture. Thank you.
Thank u sir for helping me a lot.. I'm doing bsc in zoology and I don't think that there is any topic left in my syllabus that haven't been seen in ur video.. Thank you so much...
How old are you man.. Your effort is nice ..
You really simplifyed that man!! thank you!
Very informative lecture Sir!
these videos are brill. so helpful
Thank you. Pls don't stop. it's really helpful
great video, made such complex processes easy to understand! Thank you!!
You're welcome
great work Shomu, thx for sharing your understanding!
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Keep it up man.....nice job
thank you its really helpful now i could understand the concept more clearly than uworld explanation
thank you for your effort !
THANK U´SO SO SO MUCH!! Such an excellent and simple explanation, it´s really what I need for my presentation tomorrow!!! New subs here
Thank you for your support
Super helpful!!! THANK YOU
nice explanation...
Grateful for Your Explanation, Thank you so much
You're welcome
Excellent description of KRAS!
Thank you
Thank You Sir, you explanation is just amazing.
Thabk you
that was a great video. thank you
You're welcome
Thank you so much for this:)
You are and incredible teacher!!
Thank you
thank u .. very helpful

You're welcome
Thank you sooooooo much
😊
thank you so much, very helpful
You're welcome
U save my ilfe !!!! thank u thank u!!
Thanks Sir.
How do free radicals activate the MAPK (sos/ras/raf/MEK/ERK) ?
Very helpful ❤
Thank you
Thank you❣
You're welcome
this is awesome! but i'm missing the intro song!
ur videos are really helpful my final exams is coming next week and I hate it to learn through books. Beside that I wanted to ask if I could ask some questions about some typical tasks for my final exam. I hope u can respond me...
My friend u r genius
Awesome sir... U are really talented... Sir please all time of transcription video dao
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
bro how does this inactivate tumour suppressors like p53? is there a video on that?
Thank you Sir 🙏
You're welcome
I am researching at what amino acid position is the 4th domain of the activate in which the GAP protein usually hydrolyzes the gamma phosphate on the RAS protein. Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you so much king🙏
You're welcome
Thank you :)
You're welcome
omg so clear thanks
You're welcome
A young Shomu. He's been puttin in work forever
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
@@shomusbiologyofficial I wish you nothing but continued success. You deserve it!
This is treatble or not
is there any video of pdgf
What is the kras nras braf
Thankyouu
Icar net m important topic recommend Kar dijiye
I need same help
Your presentation is good, I like it. However, small correction for you is RAS is inactive when bound to GDP and active when it's bound to GTP. You have mentioned that RAS is inactive when GDP is disconnected...that's not the case...
Did I. Should not say that
All the way from Republic of Ireland filipino
Thank you
Is there a way of treating a mutated KRas gene or recognising that it is mutated.
Sequenceing kras test
Tq
You're welcome
Hi can you help me to understand about inhibitor
Thank you
Im from iran and i cant acces to information for end
my article
Please help me because no persian for get this video
In which chromosome is KRAS gene ?
There is a mistake at 5:44. Upon Ras activation GDP becomes GTP. Not other way around
Ras is activated when attached with gtp
very nice Shomu, r you doing PhD !,
You are saying that upon activation GTP hydrolyse to GDP as KRAS is GTPase. It is wrong. Actually on activation GDP to GTP bound state and on inactivation GAP play role to hydrolyse GTP to GDP state. See your video from time 5:50 to onward
Is this ras??
Mene ct scan krwaya tha 9 msv ka
Sir,
I promote EGF can you tell me that excess EGF causes tumor? I want to sell EGF to doctors. Can you help me in this aspect
RAS is not going to bind directly with RTK`s cellular portion, GRB2 and Shc proteins are involved in RAS activation.
+M Ahmad right. Sh2 domain protein needs to interact
👍👍👍👍
Thank you
it's GDP to GTP 5:48. Come on man, so many newbies rely on your videos. Please review the content before uploading it !!
+rajesh pal sorry for the mistake. But we will fix as soon as anyone reports.
highlight bom
The writings coming are wrong.. like KRas is said chaos
Where?
The writings which are scrolling at base of your vdo .. the technical terms are mistakenly written. It must be written by some non technical persons..
Your teaching is extremely good.. the vdo s are really helpful.
