    If you're gaming, you should be using a monitor with a refresh rate of 144Hz or above. 240Hz monitors are amazing but there's something even better now: 360Hz monitors!
    How much of a difference is there between 60Hz, 144Hz, 240Hz, and 360Hz? Is using a 360Hz monitor worth it or should you get something else?
    That's exactly what we'll guide you through in this video. Keep watching!

    Perfect example of law of diminishing returns in practice.

    We desperately need desktop monitors with 16.10 ratio or 21.10 ratio with at least 144hz, True 10-bit color depth, HDR10 , DisplayHDR1000 nits, HBR3, DP 2.0 and HDMI 2.1, and it must have at least 100,000 full array local dimming zones. This world is not perfect. Why don't manufacturers just make a monitor with these specifications? 16.9 ratio sucks. Governments should allow to sell only 16.10 and 21.10 ratio monitors for a year or two. we can live our life whole hearted.

    Apex at 1440p at 150 or 300 at 1080. That is easy 1080p on any fps game and always higher FPS every time. I have both 1440 is to big and to much to look at for FPS. The smaller screen helps with concentration high FPS helps with tracking and recoil control. Plus the character size on a 27ich 1440 isn’t bigger think they are smaller because of screen size. It makes the environment feel bigger so players feel smaller. When standing in the tunnel on csgo on my 1440p it feels wider. so it feels like my mouse has to move more for aiming. Also you don’t have to get 360hz in every game to get a benefit form 360hz monitor.

      For some gamers, yes. But given the fact that there is a market for monitors with higher refresh rates than that shows that it is not the case for all gamers.

    360Hz refresh rate? Waste of time. The eye sees a perfect smooth transition at 60Hz, so the extra 300Hz is of no benefit whatsoever. I have never been able to see the difference between 60Hz and 120Hz, never mind any higher refresh rates, so why waste money on a computer screen with such a high refresh rate? Some people must be bonkers.

    • @excesssum
      @excesssum Před 2 lety +4

      Highly depends on the use case. The fact that you can't see the difference does not mean that others can't.
      As for "wasting" money - people spend a lot more on other hobbies that they enjoy and spend their time on.
      Not to mention people whose livelihoods depend on their ability to see and react to a change in a image a couple of milliseconds faster than that of their opponents.

      its marketed towards gamers , 60 hz vs 120-360 hz is a huge jump for video games , unless you're terrible at them

      Bro 60hz to 144 is obvious, unless u watch youtube videos. 60hz to 240hz is God. You either just watch videos or play slow moving games.
