hi, i have the smaller 500W/1000W version, only modification i made was that i hard wired an extension cord to it by soldering the wire to the circuit board, this becouse the build in socket wasnt making a good connection.

I know it was mentioned this as a temporary measure. Can anyone help with something for longer solutions ? As in to be used for months . Anyone ? Thank you !

This is temporary because car batteries do not work well long term. You would want a dedicated solar battery. Thanks for comment.

Can we bring a fully charged car battery inside the house and connect it or do we have to use the still installed car battery?

I would not bring a car battery into the house. It may give off fumes that are dangerous. Also if it's not in the car you can't start the car up and keep the battery charged. Thanks for your comment.

You can but be super careful you dont accidentally short it can cause a fire.
