It’s like 300 bucks and the current generation console from Sony (a super reputable brand). Unless you have an extensive digital library on Xbox, why wouldn’t it be worth it? And what else would you get?…

Yes, of course the PS5 is still worth it. Not just anyone can afford a gaming PC with computer component prices skyrocketing each year. The PS5 is a great console for playing great games on a budget.
That, and also the simplicity of everything working as it should without too many other things in the way (like updates for everything on PC)

Right now the ps5 is not worth it. the only reason to buy a ps5 is to play only 2 games ratchet and clank, and spider man 2. Every other game is on ps4. And the graphics upgrade is not big on current games. Only if you’re really worried about resolutions than consider paying hundreds of dollars to get better resolutions.
until next year 2025 will games start to be truly next gen, making the ps5 worth buying. Games like gta 6 and stranded deep 2 are truly next gen and are releasing 2025.
I will also say that this generation will last at least 10 years. If you haven’t noticed games are taking longer to release and it’s gonna affect the longevity of this generation. This is why ps5 and series x consoles are still the minorities of gaming platforms.

@@edurkaya0 not really. Only the fps, resolutions, slightly better lighting, textures, and LODs. These improvements are minor. We can say this because we’ve seen games like stranded deep 2 and gta 6. Both those games are much better than their predecessors while having the same performance.
@@balloonb0y677 i can see what youre saying, but games coming out now/a year ago only support ps5 instead of ps4, for example both of the last of us remakes, and multiple other games that ive seen aswell, i own both a pc and ps5 so im good and have the best of both worlds
@@edurkaya0 yeah but still not many. I think till the end of this year and till 2025 is when games will truly look next gen and only playable on ps5 and Xbox.

It's a review of a console after a couple years. A review from when it launched over 3 years ago will not be the same as today ( games since it released, ps plus changes etc.) 😉
