Installing LED Bulbs and New Headlights in My 2001 Silverado

In Today's video we prep and install headlights and install LED bulbs in my 2001 Silverado. I did not mention this in the video, but we had some trouble with auxbeam sending us stuff directly, but were able to get auxbeam bulbs off of Amazon no problem. Awesome video! Was in Texas when I was young for fire training and thats when I got my respect for Texans and you sir show exactly why I respect Texans!!! You made a very helpful video, out of all the ones I watched you are the only one to show how to adjust the headlights which I was in dire need of and thank you for. Now I know you went for the cheaper version which you seemed happy with but if you were gonna upgrade which ones would you have chosen? the internet is very confusing but you seem to really care about your truck especiallly all the extra precautions for water damage. Could you also mention the led's I dont remember you mentioning those. Do you have any other upgrade videos for your truck? I've got an old 2002 chevy silverado 5.3l z71 4wd that needs some love...

Thanks! The LED bulbs were aux beams. As for upgraded headlight housings I would watch reviews to see what people recommend. When it comes to headlights you usually get what you pay for lol. And yes, I got some more videos of my Silverado on this CZcams channel. I still have the truck and will continue to make more videos on it!

Sorry, I do not remember which bulbs I bought for the truck. It was a long time ago. I would use the Aux Beam website to find the exact bulbs (put your truck info in), then search the part number they give you on Amazon to find them cheaper.

No, I think I just changed switched to a relay that was made for LED. I got it from an auto parts store.

i have a little dent on my front bumper on the chrome spot right where the screw goes what could i do to fix it ??

Some times you can get dents out of bumpers by using a piece of wood and hammer to tap the dent out, but you do have to be careful. You don't won't to make the dent any worse lol.

What the bottom lights called my tope ones shine but not the bottom ones

If your bottom lights aren't coming on and you replaced the bulbs, you could have a bad relay or fuse. The bottom lights that change between the orange and white are called switch backs.

My LED lights don't blind anyone , you need to aim them correctly
