      @@MrRahimhosein it's the right way to do it. If you can find CANBUS bulbs, or 'error free' bulbs you won't need a new flasher or to add the resistor.

      I have an 03' Tahoe Z71 and after installing LED all the way around, except for the headlights, I still had issues with the LED's even after installing the LM437 LED relay. I ended up putting resistors in the front directionals and that cured the problem. I still have "bleed over" to the stop lights when the 4-way flashers are on, so I could use some ideas on that problem. Some people said they had trouble with the cruise control not working when putting LED for the brake lights. I did not have any problem with that and even ran down the highway to see if it functioned different than normal without the LED relay or resistors. No problem, all worked as normal.

      See, I wasn't sure about that. Most DIY'ers have a fear for wiring, and rightfully so. As a tech myself, I try to offer as much support as I can to people who don't have the experience or knowledge that I do.
      As for the relays, I've been using them for a few years now. They can be gotten for just about any vehicle from your local auto parts store.

My brother had a 2000 gmc suburban and same issue. So my question is, how did you get the DRL lights to work?? Did you have to add a relay and power directly from the battery using the DRL positive wire to activate the relay??

    As for 03-07 gmc the fog light can be replaced using 9005 bulb much brighter the stock. Use leds though the original style 9005 is to hot. The 9005 bulb is just clocked 180 out so the bulb is upside down wich realy doent matter.

    • @LamborghiniReven1000
      @LamborghiniReven1000 Před 6 lety

      LED bulbs are not considered legal as far as I know, but the beam pattern is so similar it makes no difference. You won't get flashed with these particular bulbs, and they won't blind others, even though they are brighter, they stay concentrated like the old bulbs.

    • @ThaMagnaCarta
      @ThaMagnaCarta Před 6 lety

      they are legal, as long as they have a good patten, thing is reflectors make everything bad compared to projectors, leds are legal every 2015+ f150 uses leds in a concentrated reflector, so no they are not illegal, however some places are more pickier than others when it comes to lights and if they are cheap. you get what you pay for, your lights should brighten the road, its a hazard for everyone if you can't see, so just put some nice leds and your golden, HIDs are different issue in reflectors.

      LED compatible flasher relays can fix hyperflash, but not all LED flasher relays are created equal. I bought a cheap $8 relay on ebay that did not fix it, and got a "name brand" relay at the local auto parts store for $18 that worked like a charm!
