He's always been really authentic and doesn't care what anyone thinks about what he has to say, whether he comes across as dumb or smart, and he's even smarter and wittier now, he's probably one of the best personalities on all of tv.
Remember when you were young and your parents would tell you how great and tough an old analyst/broadcaster was in his playing days, and you would kind of just roll your eyes? As an adult, that's how I feel about Charles Barkley. He's a funny, old, outspoken analyst now, but he wasn't so laid back when he played. He was a FREAK. So physical, and so intimidating to others. Kids today probably view him more as an analyst than as a generational basketball talent.

Lol 5 million dollars is a lot of money. If they offered athletes today 5 million dollars, they’d be like, you think I’m gonna play for chump change lol
He was fat when he first came in the league. Then old Moses Malone told him he was fat and lazy. From that point forward, he managed his weight pretty well throughout his basketball career. Not so much after he retired. 😂
