He's always been really authentic and doesn't care what anyone thinks about what he has to say, whether he comes across as dumb or smart, and he's even smarter and wittier now, he's probably one of the best personalities on all of tv.

Remember when you were young and your parents would tell you how great and tough an old analyst/broadcaster was in his playing days, and you would kind of just roll your eyes?
As an adult, that's how I feel about Charles Barkley. He's a funny, old, outspoken analyst now, but he wasn't so laid back when he played. He was a FREAK. So physical, and so intimidating to others. Kids today probably view him more as an analyst than as a generational basketball talent.

Thanks for the awesome comments Bradley. Barkley is not much taller than 6'4". His heart (both as a player and now as an analyst) is a least twice that size.

Barkley was really skinny and wasn't overweight, like he is now. Barkley was one of the greatest.

Yes he got traded in mid July of 1992. Presumably, this show was taped before that, and only broadcast in the Netherlands in August 1992.

He was fat when he first came in the league. Then old Moses Malone told him he was fat and lazy. From that point forward, he managed his weight pretty well throughout his basketball career. Not so much after he retired. 😂
