Finally swapped everything into a new DC5 chassis including the EPS conversion. Bro no delays even from a dead stop or just parked moving wheels left and right.
@@ariesr4883 honestly the only thing is it’s super sort at first when taking off or parking just something to get used to once you pick up speed it gets a little stiffer on the highway so it’s fine
I forgot to ask. Where exactly did you mount the EPS brain box? I know there’s the SRS box directly under the center console in front of shifter and there’s cover under accelerator pedal where that firewall grommet is at. Did u mount it where that cover is at? I’m “cornfuse” (this is the last thing I got do to finish this conversation lol)
I have an 03 crv 5speed. Would this system work on my car? The dc5 integra/rsx is the same platform as the 03 crv right? Jw cause im in the process of swapping a tsx k24a2 into it and want to delete everything i can. They are known for horribale ac systems so i was thinking deleting that anyway if i can run this electric power stearing would be great. I know i wouldnt need the ep3 pully but everything else i could yard for right? I would never want to run a crv with no power stearing as it is my daily driver. And who would want to race out a crv? Well me but im just having fun with my car not trying to race or anything just want some more power and fun to zip around in. I got kids and the crv is a nice little awd car. And they are everywhere. I figure if i keep up with it it will last forever and not be to pricy to fix any problems. Plus the 02 to 04 5 speeds are going up in price now everyone wants to go awd plus hondata can be run on their ecus.
Unfortunately they are different but you can add the electric Toyota Mr2 pump to your existing rack and have custom hoses made for it as I’ve done before and I will be making a video on that for my accord soon
Do you know if for 05-06 if you can do the same by wiring into the kpro harness or engine harness? , I know the vss isn’t the same pin as 02-04 but I just wanted to know if I need a Dakota box or if I can wire into my harness
You can but the pin out is different and yes you will need a ktuned speed converter also and unfortunately I have not done a 05-06 so I really can’t give you the proper info
@@awolcustoms thank you , on vision auto works it says that for 05-06 you can wire into the harness if you have kpro , I emailed them to confirm but I’m still waiting for a response
If u have 05+ up u should also have ktuned ecu before Installing this. Than u can follow this video verbatim , except the pin outs vss is e25 nep is e26 ign is same plug e9
This is the most comprehensive install video for the electric power steering conversion on CZcams. Great job, buddy.
Thank you brotha I appreciate that
Very nice and good video, I saw meny others videos and it was look complicate but yours video show how easy it is thank you
You’re the best investment I’ve ever made. You’re just so talented 😘 thank you for making my car that much better!

Great Video Man, Thank you Very Much!
I’m glad I could help 🙏🏽
Thank you 🙏🏼
Nice 👌 happen to have the part number of the belt you used for this conversion
The wire with fuse 60 did you connect that with the fuse box ?? Or where did you get the power
What year ep3 did you get it from? Are all the plugs the same ?
Feedback please !
Does this work long term ? ?
What’s up with the CB7??
What kind of female connectors are those??
Awesome!! Thanks for the video and great info!!!! Btw couldn’t you hook up power from the fuse box or use an EP3 fuse box?
I have no idea I just looked up the wiring diagram and went from there I didn’t want to experiment with something more complex
@@awolcustoms I feel yah. Just get’er done! Lol. Please keep us updated if any weird sudden jerks from the EPS may arise. Thanks for the response!

@@awolcustoms that’s what I heard from a lot of people doing this conversion. Guess it’s the norm. Thanks for confirming it even more!

What year is your rsx? Is there a difference of wiring depending on rsx model?
Only 2 wires you need to splice into. Write up on Club RsX .com

You dont want a billet slider. Only delrin
Why would you do this the dc5 rack feels so much better then the ep3 rack
