This seem to not work if the bounding box of the object changes - for example if you add or remove the details that extend outside of the original model footprint. It seems lychee uses center of mass as a reference point to cmpare old and new objects, and if it's not exatly perfect the object will shift and supports become useless. This is very bad solution for having multiple base objects with just a detail changes. Shame, but great idea though.
Super useful as always. I wonder, could you maybe make something on exporting from Blender to STLs? There are several error that often occure, Im having problems with objects being way to small despite changing units in Blender. Cheers
Love your tips and tricks. Your videos and discord channel was the biggest help in learning resin printing.
Thank you so much for saying that. It makes me really happy to know I was able to help :D :D :D
I didn't know you could do that in lychee. Thanks!

Scale orientation origin and bounding box all must not change in order for object swapping in lychee. There is no way around it
@@TableFlipFoundry Thank you for explaining. It's a bit of a shame - would be perfect for having multiple variants where only small detail change.
I learned something new. Thanks! 👍

I will add that to my video ideas list!
