Best carpet shampoo for auto detailing... this phrase gets thrown around in the professional auto detailing world all the time... but it's time we talk about REAL carpet shampoo products that do REAL work for professional detailers that are better than these traditional auto detailing carpet shampoo products.
Most products I've found in the professional auto detailing world are weak, watered down, and overly expensive versions of detergent soaps. What's the problem? In the professional auto detailing world we are facing every type of carpet shampoo problem that you can think of! That means we need a product that works on the HARD STUFF!
This product "Encap- Clean DS2" is one of the more famous CARPET CLEANING chemicals that exists in the fabric/carpet cleaning world. Well... like I often do, as a pro detailer I have to constantly find products OUTSIDE of the auto detailing industry and bring them in because they work SO MUCH better than the products available to us detailers in the industry!
In this video we break down why this product is what I would call the "best carpet shampoo for auto detailers" and specifically PROFESSIONAL AUTO DETAILERS! We use this product on every type of stain you can think of, milk, chocolate, dirt, and even honey! No we aren't using extractors or steamers, just this product and a toothbrush! Professional detailers, you are going to want to see this one!

Great advice luke as usual been detail for a while now going to customers homes and got a few convenience stores. And now thanks to some of my customers getting ready to move in my new shop it was offered to me.
not in business, detail for my own pleasure, but still want to do the best I can with products that work. Thanks for your tips!
Been waiting for this video for months 😂 thank you for everything you do! I’ve learned a lot.
Thank you luke, for doing this video.. I wish it came out sooner, just bought some new carpet chemicals and now saw this. I like how this is a 1 step product and you dilute and thats it. I got FLEX citrus solv and then had to get FLEX ice to neutralize. They work great but more steps, I like this a lot.
I'm surprised to hear you talk about Releasit! I've been using encap cleaners for awhile and it is a really nice thing to have
How timely. I've been researching various cleaners including those for carpets, and this popped up in my recommendations. Looks to be effective and economical in the long run, even for DIYers such as myself. Cool.
You can never go wrong with an awesome carpet cleaner. Pro grade products like this are essential especially with dilution ratios like that. Thanks for reviewing this. I'm on their site already looking.
I use the carpet cleaner from the doller tree it's called I Heart carpet and it works great
Bro....your awesome.
You always find good stuff man..
I just put in 12 hours non stop of detailing a big Chevy Tahoe, all three rows with tan carpets, all covered in very dark dirt! My first time ever I couldn’t get the whole detail done in one day. So I got excited when I saw this title yesterday but didn’t have time to watch until now, on my way back to finish getting out the dark brown, almost black stains out of that same color carpet you’re using. I don’t think people understand just how hard detailers work. If I could pick this product up this morning on my way to the detail, I will!! As always, thank you for the great content!
I also had a three row Tahoe with destroyed floors...I'm curious were you able to get the stains out with this product? What did you use?
I’m currently doing the same thing on a Tahoe with tan carpet how it work for the whole carpets?
How much do you charge for something like this?
Thanks for your video of this new product. I have either a Coffee or Soda Pop stain on my driver and passenger front side floor board. These are not my stains. I don't drink coffee period. I drink juice drinks not soda pop. The Camry was given to me that way. Again thanks for your video.
Encap cleaners are phenomenal. One of the major benefits is that unlike soaps, they don’t have residue to attract dirt. It’s counterproductive to use soap to clean the carpet only to have the same soap act as a dirt magnet after.
i like your videos but next time get a floor mat thats been in a car for awhile
Right makes sense for the testing as a recent spill or dirt will come out easier than if the floor mat goes through a few heat cycles in a closed car in sun.
Looks like a great product to have in my arsenal!
If you don't know about bridgepoint systems bio break and flex ice then you should start looking into those also. You got me started in detailing. Thanks
That product he is showing is safe on wool as well.
I've been using bio break & flex ice professionally for a bit now and I gotta say it works amazing and much safer than APC. Hawk Pro Detailing has a bunch of great info on these type of products!
What do you like as a plastic cleaner? Using the nextzett deep plastic followed with either 303 or mothers for protection layer/finish
Thanks for the tip
Is it better than Folex?
Do you use only hot water for the extraction part? I’ve only used hot distilled water in the tank but I hear some people use a water/solution mix for the clean water tank.
Is it okay to use this on cloth seats?
So I can use this on any color car carpet and seats
You can get a free 3 bottle sample for the different carpet products that they have. I believe they are 8oz.bottles.
Will this product sanitize my car carpets? Also my car carpets are black will it bleach my carpets or is it safe of bleaching my carpets?
I love ZEP commercial high traffic formula. The smell is fantastic and, side from ink, I haven't found a stain it can't tackle.
The bonus: it's one of the least expensive cleaners out there.
Agree it’s cheap like $10 a gallon at menards here but in my experience it’s sooooo foamy I feel like u never actually suck all the solution out’
Even with a rug doctor pro and upholstery hose
Wonder though if it’s oh neutral or an alkaline cleaner I’ll have 2 look next time I’m at menards
@@joshymcdaniel9233 It might depend on how you're mixing it. I haven't found it to be foamy at all. I wish it actually foamed a bit more.
I'll play around with it and see if I can make it foam.
What I use is 250 ml in about 4L. Or about 65 ml/L, and it works really well.
@@kylebouyers51 yah I was just looking looks like there is a concentrate gallon version
Then a high traffic (non concentrated) that’s the one I was using
Then there’s another version that’s kinda like Folex just spray and wipe down no suction needed
Usually I mix soap and water In a pump sprayer spray surface agitate with brush then clean water to suck up’
Never mix soap in with water in machine as then to get all soap out u have to do a second pass with clean water so double the work’
I might try the concentrate version! Maybe that was my problem using the “pre mixed one”
I do love zep though love their Leno. Cleaners and deodorizer!
And like u said it’s cheap it works for sure so wasn’t trying to knock your comment just giving my fees back 🙃
@@joshymcdaniel9233 I didn't think you were knocking it. I didn't even know they made a non concentrated version. The things you learn from CZcams!
I just love the smell of their product. It's gentle but really pleasant. I can't quite describe it. And, typically I'm sensitive to scent, so this was a pleasant surprise.
Can this be used on seats?
Could you use a zep apc carpet cleaner for the interior? And if so, what ratio?
Can i replace my SuperClean Cleaner over this One ?… or Can i pre treat stains, Rust, etc with Releasit then Apply SuperClean to wet Vacuming it like a combo
Is that carpet cleaner product a harsh chemical?
My floor mats are beige but are so dirty they are black so dirty. Mine are dirtier than that floor mat.you need to demonstrate using my floor mat. That one is clean compared to mine. How about demonstrating on a filthy mat. That one is fairly clean.
Is this better then p&s 3 step? Can you use this on upholstery?
do i need to apply another type of neutralizer like the pns 3 chemical method or is this product going to do all the things like the pns 3 chemicals?
Can anything get Diesel Kleen fuel additive out of carpet?
I was hoping to see the list but it’s not working on the website
Is your class still available anywhere??
Where can you buy Releaseit?
Wonder if this requires a ph neutral/finisher after using this?
Dilution ratio?
Well paid to show case this 👍💯🔥📈
Looks like a good cleaner but you can only get the product from them directly and no free shipping either .
After using this product and not extracting, you must let it dry and vacuum, thats how encap works.
I got one for you....you have $50 to spend on products to detail a car, inside and out, at walmart....We'll just assume people have a shop vac and water hose. What would you buy..
Is this safe to use with the mytee. I know if the product is to sudsy if could damage the mytee extractor when extracting the fabric ?
This company does offer a product called Foam-Guard to eliminate suds. Personally I no longer add any chemicals to my solution tank other than ORN. I just replaced the heater in my 8070 a couple of weeks ago. It stopped getting hot after about 5 years of moderate use with chemicals in my solution tank. All that to say, I don't recommend putting chemicals in the solution tank. The pretreat & scrubbing should be doing majority of the work. The hot water will take care of the rest.
@@offdatgogo hey what cleaner do you spray on the carpet? I was using super clean and Ik it’s not safe for the mytee so I want to use something safer for it
Can you use this product to shampoo the floors with an extractor?
this is a non extract cleaner. as it dries it wicks all the dirt to the top of the fibers and dries as a polymer crystal. every vacuuming after the cleaning will further clean the carpet. you can post vacuum with your extractor without water after it dries. If you use water it will rinse the product out and cancel the intended use of the chem.
Thank you,Luke
nice did you say (4:51 time mark) four ounce to a gallon, if so should that be one ounce to a 32 ounce spray bottle if so why extra if less is more?
i cant get it in the uk ... i been looking for ages for it as i do carpet cleaning on the side
I know that the US and the UK do things differently, but you may get better results if you clean them on the top, as well.
Can that product been used also for carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning ?
yes this product was designed to be used in commercial carpeted areas like hotel lobbies and office buildings. You pre spray the carpet then use a orbital or rotary floor machine to do essentially the same thing that the brush and towel are doing.
I used lighting fast from chem guyfor carpet shampoo, it’s $30 a gallon and the dilution suggested was way too light to clean the carpets properly, so I diluted 4 to 1. Then I changed to purple power, $5 a gallon and does a way better job and same dilution. You’re paying for the brand people.
You have to be careful with app’s like super clean etc. they leave the carpet “charged” on the alkaline side, so even when you’re done there is residual cleaner power, so they pick up dirt way faster and will get dirty quicker.
Crazy it’s $42 now, I’m OCD soo looking at then am before I order but the carpet bomber I’ve heard was good
Do you have a Touchless exterior wash video? I am thinking about adding this to make my exterior faster if it does a good job.
I’ve tried the touch less wash. It helps with getting dirt off. But it’s still not a wash. I thought the same thing that it would help save time. Don’t waste your money with it
Those are all water soluble stains. How does it do with non-water soluable stains (stains from dirty bicycle chains, things like that)?
Stains can not be removed, Spots can
Can you use it on black carpet?
this is safe for any color carpet, it does not bleach
Where do you buy it at?
the company name is excellent supply. they have a few different types of encap solutions
God bless you. I just throw those cheap things in the washing machine. ✅ Done.
$22 for regular shipping for one gallon! Ah, I don't think so!! Shipping is a total rip-off!!!
LA'S Totally Awesome from the Dollar store works bitchen.
Without the use of an extractor like a wet dry vacuum it makes it infinitely more difficult to remove stains and you can use OXI- Clean Interior Foam available at most Auto Part Stores, scrub it in, let it set and then vacuum it out, which saves a ton of work with a wet dry vacuum sucking up the soiled & dirty upholstery or carpet and no ordering whatever this guys selling you at $50.
Encap is not a shampoo.
Wicking use their peroxide one.
Bro. I use this secret cleaner. The real og detailers know what it is and how cheap it is. Like unbelievably cheap
I only use Awesome & Gain detergent Thank me later 💯
There’s a ton of better chemicals from the carpet cleaning industry that are great for detailers doing upholstery and carpet cleaning. It may be new to you but, it is not the best in the world.
Would you mind to share what you use 😉
Sounds like he drank a pot of coffee folks where i come don't speak speak that fast
4:11 Ironic? a cleaning product that is developed for commercial used carpets, outperforms a product that is developed for a personal used carpet. Einstein has just left the Building!
I Love watching this Guy, the trainwreckage is gold!
that mat isnt worse than mazda carpet. nothings worse than that.
My speed 6 wasn't bad.
@@imperial1037 it might be because you didnt trash it. Ive cleaned a lot of dirty ones, dog hair gets impossibly stuck as well as other stuff.
@@Deved89 Try a Lily Brush, i have a german shepherd x siberian husky and i love him like my child but he leaves literal pounds of hair in the hallways, on the couch, in my room, and especially in my cars, leather interior helps, though.
@@imperial1037 ive used literally everything, some peoples cars are just too trashed. awesome, I love dogs and thats great that you let him ride with you.
@@Deved89 I have an f30 335xi and boy does a german shepherd look good in a german car, i can't resist lol.
how much drugs u take? u all tweeked out. chill man
You think they are terrible but bro that’s your opinion and opinions are like assholes every one has one and my friend I love my mats they were free and they protect underneath them fairly well and some of us can’t afford to buy new mats
This is nothing but a commercial
Tease thumbs down
You dont know how to clean lol
