- Risk on travelling merchant ship is piracy attack different parts of the word. Now the attacking area reduced to east & west African coasts. In Arabian sea, Somalian coast is the high risk area.in this video try to show the safety and security precautions to be taken before transiting the HRA. this is the busy shipping route between Singapore and Europe . every ship passing follows the same procedure.containers ship dont need razor wire due to high draught. yes we use only our fire hose as water cannons and full engines doing over 25knots minimum. or ships with low draught, hire security guards.

The more they could possibly know the better. It's an overt operation not covert. We stand obvious and mount all razor wire and hoses even dummies in positions to deter attack. Being silent and covert defeats the purpose and allows pirates to approach vessels and put the fear of god into the crew.
