a good solid protune is my favorite mod on any vehicles. One made my little 1.4L jetta with a manual get 65mpg cruising on the hwy, and have 200whp 210trq to have a little fun in the mountain roads here in Co. And everything is still stock equipment. Running strong and super reliable.

quick question, hoping somebody can answer for me. i just did the 91 cobb tune, and im getting knock and fine knock numbers of -1.41 / -2.81, should i take off my tune? or are these normal for anyone else?

Man, I like my warranty but I know I would love a pro tune.
What I did was just revert everything back to stock (parts and tune) whenever I needed to bring it in for repairs

@@johnb382s that is true I did forgot that on my first crash that almost totaled my car from the rear I took it to my salesmans son shop and got lucky he hooked it up because he said if I would’ve brought it to Ford Collision themselves to use the warranty they would’ve called me to get a tow truck and get the car out
@@johnb382s but not for just a tune, Ive never had problems with even major things in 2 years its just when I built the car things got iffy
Same here. I’d love to get a tune but one of the reasons I ordered a 2022 WRX was to get under a warranty lol Exhaust is on the way so I’ll just do that and some cosmetic mods/wheels over time. Then I’ll tune it once my warranty is up.
What rims are on the WRX.... I been looking for some white ones like that for mine.

yeah, thats a sacrifice that has to be made if you want better performance
@@theend3394dealer warranty is a scam anyway. Nothing happens to 99% of cars until after the warranty is up.
You said you were going to find out how much power it made. But you never told us how much power it made so how much power did it make?
This car made roughly 270-275whp on pump 93 with just the addition of the Cobb OTS map.

I use 93 octane every time. My car is stock. I got 13.6 max boost. Supposed to be 12 or something a bit higher. Use good octane instead of voiding your warranty. I’ve raced stock sti from the va era and have won all the time. The vb rules. If u want to void the warranty, then no one will stop the new vb. Incredible engine, lots to tune and way more power. Just saying.
