When I saw Interestelar, I was never the same again.
When i saw it I was at first very sad and somehow scared and then i started thinking about lots of things and if it was possible in real life

truly correct
This movie was too strong
Why?
How many times did we think on go back into a moment and say something to ourselves in the past. After all this years still one of the best masterpieces of all time.
Omg I thought I was the only one. I say something to my future self and in the future I reply. After I watched the movie, I started having a communication with my future self.
Yeah wish I told my self to never choose chemistry at school when picking my classes
I'd have loved to tell myself to not eat that chipotli burrito three hours ago. The pain down there is real.
So many people want to change the past to fix the present, but i dont see anyone changing the present to fix the future
@@turtle-ij4bsexactly yet that's the entire point of the movie. The past can't be changed
There is also a message in this scene, no matter how hard you try, you cant change the past, but you can change the future
Thanks for the inspiration bro
the future and the past are the same thing
@@bob-gc8xbno they are not. You can’t travel to the past you can travel to future

Probably the greatest cinematic movie ever produced.

This scene gets me every time.
My father died in a boating accident and I always think, if I could go back and tell him not to go out on the boat, tell him to stay.
Great acting, great film

really sorry for your tragic loss :(
I wish I could go back and tell my dad to stop smoking. It's what got him killed.
Instead of STAY, I'd say "STOP" in a part of his timeline where he's smoking.

That sound he makes at 1:35 - 1:40 breaks my heart. Its like a sound that represents his helplessness😭
Yes, he knows he can't do anything, but he tries anyway. It's just the way people are, we have feelings after all
Even if u can go back to the time u want.. U cant change everything... Cuz that is ur destiny... And impossible to change the destiny..
After this sound I was never the same again
I'm a 50 year old man and when I watched interstellar I cried like a baby and I'm not ashamed to admit it, I'd rate it up there with shawshank redemption and schindlers list.

Interstellar wouldnt have been this great without Matthew McConaughey. His performance here was so convincing that he made everyone in the theatre cry. While Everyone is appreciating Nolan for the scene and zimmer for the score (rightfully) I think Matthew McConaughey deserves more credit for fully bringing the scene to life. The Impact in his voice cracks and screams. Shaky breathing, everything was so perfect. He made a teenager like me feel what its like to be your child's ghost.
as good as he was at the emotional component, I don't buy him having any space engineering knowledge.

Actually they do . And this idea was actually suggested in a book written 5000 years ago in a book in today's know country of republic of india.
This has to be the saddest scene in film history. The pure and raw emotion is something you can’t describe.
Everything about this one little clip, just leaves you replaying it over and over again.
The music composition, the acting, the directing. Literally everything part of this scene, really defines the meaning of remorse, regret and sorrow.
I think the saddest scene is where he watches the video messages of his kids.

This scene hit different. I always cry thinking in the posibility of seeing the past an see me chosing something i will regret later. Its so emotive seeing how he tries to warn himself screaming and punching and his past self just turn around and say everything with his eyes like "YOU chose this"

I really loved the plot twist. It was very heartbreaking.
Knowing the theme is written with focus on fatherhood makes it so heartful!

Before I watched interstellar, I saw GIFs of this scene, and just thought it was a funny little clip from some minor movie I'd never watch.
Now I've seen Interstellar. This scene is one of the saddest I've ever watched. The sheer loss and anguish he feels, wanting to go back in any way he can to undo what he did, reaches through the screen every time I rewatch this.

This is the best movie i have ever watched, every scene, especially this one is so powerful in ever way. Christopher Nolan did a phenomenal job on this movie, but it wouldnt have been as good without the amazing music of Hans Zimmer, and thats what i love about this movie, the way that the story intertwines with the music to make an absolute masterpiece of a film with so many different emotions, and thats why I love this film.
Even after watching a couple of times. I still root for something else to happen.
