During Empire Luke thought he needed to find a great warrior, a man of stregnth and cunning. Now that Yoda shows up and shows that a Jedi master does not need stregnth to be great, but rather deep understanding.
We'll be able to do that one day. Some of us already had that ability in past lives. It's just dormant and will be awakened when we're wise enough to use it. Some people already can use telekinesis.

And that if there were any other jedi masters, then they were scattered across other distant worlds in the galaxy on harsh/unforgiving worlds like Dagobah. So like, jedis who wanted to be trained by them had to make almost like a pilgrimage to meet them & theyd basically live with them for a few years. But then the phantom menace came around & turned the jedi into boring ass diplomats who had medichloreans & a dumb prophecy that turned vader into space jesus.
