I’m starting to get tired of all this talk. When Al Davis you used too talk about his raiders you never heard people say the raiders don’t win games because of Al. The cowboys (the football team) have no identity on offense or defense, are not disciplined, and have a quarterback who can’t perform in the playoffs, even with all the weapons he has. Lebron by himself had a light on him his whole career, and he still performed, no matter the noise coming from outside. The players have to get a backbone and play, and ignore the noise. At the end of the day you guys play football, not a media game do play

In my madden franchise I traded Schultz to Detroit for a pick. In the offseason the lions signed Dak and they beat me in the SB. I played with buffalo and was controlling the Texans cuz they’re a fun team to play with. Dak, Brown and Schultz balled out. Even a video game knows dak needs to leave Dallas so he can win. 😂😂

Everyone knows this. This is nothing new. The Cowboys are a circus. The problem is they are a circus because of Jerry Jones. And nobody can make Jerry Jones run his organization any differently. We can talk about it until we are blue in the face but Jerry is gonna do what he wants to do. It’s his team.
As a Broncos fan with no sarcasm intended the Cowboys are the biggest winners. No team gets the airplay that the cowboys get without progressing in the playoffs. They always dominate topics on these shows due to their fans providing the most lucrative market. Winning doesn’t interfere with that because if winning did Jerry wouldn’t have got rid of Jimmy and then you play some game making him wait quarter of a century before putting him in your ring of honour. As someone who lives 30 minutes from The Star in Frisco TX, we’ve all known this. The practice facility literally has tours and anyone has access to an NFL teams facility. I’m actually going to a lounge called Concrete Cowboy there tomorrow night😂 It’s insane that it’s not closed off

As soon as he left, Jerry had unchecked power, and the priority became satisfying his ego. Per Troy Aikman: “In 94, we weren’t as good as we were in 93. In 95 we won the sb but we were worse than we were in 94.” It’s been downhill ever since.

As a Cowboys fan I agree with Dalton Schultz because it's true. But here's the thing James Jones when you were playing for Mike McCarthy y'all had a bunch of killer's during that Super Bowl run with players like Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Stark, Ryan Grant, Jermichael Finley, Clay Matthews, A.J. Hawk, Nick Collins, Ryan Pickett, Sam Shields, Charles Woodson, the list goes on.
Finley, Grant and Tauscher were injured earlier in the season and didn’t play during the playoff run. That team was special tho. Don’t forget Jenkins, Raji, Williams and that O-line were big factors as well. I was glad that Clifton and Tauscher got their rings before retirement.
Just for clarification the dallas cowboys had already become known as "americas team" in the early 80's late 70's, NOT for what they did the 90's. Im in my twenties and know this lol

I became a Cowboy fan at age 6 (1970!), and a Longhorn fan when the Tyler Rose exploded on the scene. So I can vouch for what Acho is saying. It wasn’t “Clint’s (Murchison) World.” It wasn’t even Tex’s (Schramm) world. It was about THE coach, Tom Landry, and the business HE ran, which was football, period. All my time growing up, the playoffs were automatic. (My world shook when they missed in ’74!) In Landry’s business, great coaches were hired, great talent was found. (They used to put them Cowboys down for their use of computers. 😂) Countless innovation’s…most still being used, from the flex defense to the ring of honor, Tom and Tex made Dallas. But it was always about football, which is why NO ONE told Landry what to do. It was HIS team, the way Clint Murchison wanted it. The success Jimmy Johnson brought to Dallas was, to a large degree, on the coat tails of Tom Landry. Tex Shramm stayed around long enough to show Jerry far more than Jerry will ever give credit for. Jimmy learned as much from Landry’s remaining players as he taught them. It took three years before J&J started getting it, but when they finally put it together, they had a brief dynasty. But once Jerry’s pride, and his refusal to acknowledge who buttered his bread, the Cowboys became cursed…not in a Red Sox, mystical kind of way, but in a redefining of “business” and refocusing of priorities kind of way. The elite Jerry Jones is hugely successful, for himself. In that way, I guess in that way, they do seem like America’s team.

Were not Americas team because of what happen in the 90s. There were only three teams that were on television in the 70’s. The Cowboys was one of them and also we had a Quarterback that went to Vietnam and came back and played. After Bradshaw did that and winning two super bowls during that era, The cowboys started to get Notoriety. Then Jerry came in the 80s and boosted the Cowboys up another level, Cementing us as Americas team by winning three more Super bowls.
