I see both sides. I think the real factor is will CJ become a leader or will Diggs become a problem? If you are that guy at the QB position, you will have to manage the huddle and the egos.

James Jones nailed it. While Diggs is a star, he demands targets and gets toxic when he doesn’t get them. Buffalo figured out how to win without featuring Diggs, which is a GOOD THING, and Josh Allen will actually improve even more because he won’t have that pressure to force a certain amount of targets to a certain big personality in the WR corps.
Also, when Diggs dropped that deep 65 yarder in the Divisional, and DISAPPEARED after the game, that was your SIGN.

Buffalo slowly phased Diggs outta the offense and when he needed to make that TD catch to win against the Chiefs, & he dropped the pass.
That was the final nail in the coffin. Buffalo will be fine.

In reality, the "great teammate" was Josh Allen for constantly protecting his teammates and never throwing them under the bus.

Bruh JJ just gained more respect from me. Cause what he is saying is EXACTLY what happened to Mahomes his last year with Tyreek. As a Chiefs I’ve watched games where Pat would forget the read and force the ball to Tyreek bc Cheetah is so dangerous and a threat to score every time.
The year right after Tyreek left I believe Pat had his best efficient year as a QB. The offense became unpredictable and teams didn’t know who to cover outside of Kelce.

Keenan Allen only got a 4th, Amari Cooper only got a 5th. Eating the money for one season is nothing so they don't need to pay him 30 mil a season going forward for a wr on the decline. Over the last 12 games of the season Diggs was 3rd on the team in receptions, yards and TD grabs. Not too good for the 5th highest paid wr in the league. Pay a little more to save a lot less next season and beyond.

Hopefully, Houston improves but I have my doubts. James Jones made a great point they’ve won without him and he continues to make his way off a team with controversy if things aren’t going his way on the field. So Houston just be sure to feature him as the number one which I’m sure they will.

Check out the history of WRs of his caliber that were traded. Most of them went for a 4th or 5th rounder so it was a really good deal for the Bills
The one thing James is leaving out.....Diggs commanded help over the top, which opened the door for others to get the ball. No Diggs....stand by for Josh's pick count to go up. Or, they wont be scoring as much.

In important games, he all but disappears. 28 yards. 50 yards. 69 yards. That's not elite. That's just running routes. He's not getting the ball because he's not getting open. This guy was a cancer in MN. He's most known for the Mpls Miracle. But the miracle wasn't him make the catch. The miracle is that the Saints didn't make the play. After he scored? What did he do? He was involved in an accident at a construction site. He developed sepsis from his injuries and was put on a ventilator. He eventually died but not one of these sports shows even talked about him. At Ohio State, CJ had about 3 #1 (and 1st rd draft pick caliber) WRs to throw to. For a QB about to enter his 2nd year in the NFL, CJ has the unique leadership and experience that very few have had - probably the most recent example being Joe Burrow with his loaded LSU WR core.
