Watching Belgium play this last week was some of my favorite darts ever!!
If the pdc world championship is the ultimate for any individual darter, then the pinnacle for the doubles is the pdc world cup of darts
Belgium featured three times, but can't really be mad since all of those were nail-biters. I'd probably put Wales vs Belgium over Australia vs Belgium, because the semifinal offered a more balanced performance from all four players, but that's just me.
I'd also argue about #5 pick, since it was a blowout, whereas Denmark with Reus' performance beating Austria, Poland fighting with Germany or Lukasiak stealing the playoff participation away from Italy offered more in terms of drama.
But that is just my view. Either way, I truly enjoy this new format. It's not that singles would be boring, but they didn't really suit a team event like this. Great choice by PDC.
Never ever have I've seen matches that I want to watch a second time :D Belgium's soccer team was playing at the same time. I haven't watched a minute of it :)
Please keep this format!!! This was SO MUCH fun to watch! Emotions, drama, adrenaline, happyness, crazy darts, it had all of it!

Is it normal that players don’t use their signature darts? It seems like Simon Whitlock wasn’t using his darts, the darts he had been using looks like a set of unicorn dart.
His usual darts arent allowed anymore cause he kept ruining the boards

Belgium played such a solid tournament but were unlucky with the draw, they can look back at a wonderful weekend of darts. I see too much hate on socials towards Dimitri VDB because of him being different and that's really a shame, Belgium deserves more respect in my opinion.
I expected the crowd to be hostile towards the German's opponent but it was fairly alright, German crowd really behaved and was joyfull to watch so my respect for all you Germans out there!
