I think a recovery week is deserved! Your body pushed those miles, and a rest is needed. I'm hoping that this takes off farther than us girls! It's a wonderful challenge! My name is IceBear, btw. Halfway Point is my shop. I live 3.5 miles from the AT halfway point in Pennsylvania. I'm about an hour from Wheezy Pee. We haven't met IRL, but RVA said we will this year at Trail Days. 👊 Keep going, Jester! You've got this, and you're gonna come out stronger, healthier, and happier!
Ugh, I just heard you say you teach high school. I don't know how you do it! I taught preschoolers for years, and I always said there's no way I could ever handle teenagers for a living! 😫👏 God Bless you.

After my successful 3 day backpacking trip I’ll be working on my knee every other day, letting it rest every other day for the first couple of weeks then going out for a 4 -5 day trip with longer miles. Oh, and I lost 2.6 lbs on my 3 day trip! Best wishes and keep on moving!👊
