This lady's voice is really something special. I was searching for various performances of this particular song and this video came up. I had never heard these folks before, but I'm a faithful subscriber now. Very talented.

There are certain tunes I always come back to - It Makes No Difference being one of them. The Band, sure. After all Robbie wrote it and Rick slays it. But guess what? Sugar Lime Blue slay it. Ashley casts her magic with mesmerizing vocal, Dave, strong as death guitar, Jeff, keeping the boys and girl on target, and Russ laying down the perfect bass lines. We're all gonna miss Russ. But part of his legacy will be forever on You Tube! See ya down the road Russ, my friend! (And you better be wearing your hat!)

This is one of those songs that you feel there is little point in making a cover - it's been done and you are not going to better Rick. But it's a credit first to a great song - thanks Robbie - and to Ashley's voice: once I heard this I am so glad that they did go for it.

Yeah, it is at least one of the best. The only thing it is missing is the harmony which is so hard to replicate. I usually hate covers, but this is the right amount different and similar to the original!
I have been playing this song for myself on guitar when I am feeling remorse or unhappiness for many years, it is cathartic and I don't play it for publicly or for friends. Watching you do this song in a group setting and smiling at the end has made me rethink that I should include this song in my performances. it is one of my favorite dramatic heartfelt songs ever written!
The song speaks...We have never done it live but similar songs and the right audiences will always listen :)
