Bayou St. John | New Orleans Neighborhood

Calling all history buffs! Bayou St. John or Faubourg St. John is rich in history and gorgeous architecture. Even though it’s situated in the middle of New Orleans, this well-established neighborhood is quiet, so you enjoy city living, but are removed from the hustle and bustle. Fun fact: Bayou St. John is an actual bayou running through the city, it is one of the few natural waterways in the city.
Being on the water, it’s not uncommon to see paddleboarders, or kayakers taking advantage of all it has to offer. Not into the water? No problem, this neighborhood is also filled with folks riding bikes, running, and walking.
