  • This is a very short single scene, just to get back into the swing of how the solo rule worked and the SWN game mechanics.
I will get more into character in the next session.

    Hi Peter,
May I ask what dice rolling app you are using? Is it something that can be installed for Windows? To date, I've been using an app on my phone but it doesn't have quite the versatility of yours (for instance, no d1000).

It is called Dice 3D by 7pexels. It runs on Windows and Android, and possibly others. It is very configurable, and the Android version is even better than the windows version.

@@ppmgames thank you kindly! It is a really great app indeed. BTW I just bought this supplement and Easier Sci-Fi Play, your work is great and is really enriching my play.

    Enjoyed the video. Thumbs up.
Pardon for the distraction but what is that dice roller? It seems very visual for rolling on one's desktop.

It is called Dice 3D by 7Pixels. It is free in the Windows App Store but the Android version has more features. It is my dice roller of choice.

      @@ppmgames Thanks ... Looks like it's a Windows 10 app. I will give it a try.

Hi there, just stumbled upon this. Enjoying the video.
Sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but do you have a link/info for the open question oracle you show? Looks potentially interesting. Thanks!

The one shown is from Solo Adventures www.drivethrurpg.com/product/284798/Solo-Adventures-compatible-with-Stars-Without-Number?affiliate_id=730903
That is available as pdf and book, for online variations the original is game icons. game-icons.net/
In the footer is a random icon link.
One of my favourites is Todd Zirchers Zero Dice tangent-zero.com/zero_dice/zero_dice.htm
      I hope that helps.

Why don't you treat it like a video game? Start with an intro, ask the player what they want to do, show a menu of options to choose from, expand on their option, and give a random result of their choice.
A GM is basically a game dev and AI interface for the players to put it in "game speak". The problem with GMing vs game development is that a picture is worth a thousand words and GMs literally use a thousand words to describe one scene that could have been done with a picture.

The only video game I play is Microsoft Solitaire Collection, and it is thin on plot. The last video games I bought were Neverwinter Nights, and Morrowind. This is actually going to become an issue in the future as more games are being built on top of popular Netflix series, and I don't watch TV, or popular games, which I don't play and for the most part don't even know they exist.
